"The contractor sent to my house was NOT a licensed electrician. I was told a free quote was 39.99, that turned to 59.99 when I got the estimate and it was waaaaaay over priced and then wanted me to pay a fee to get a warranty for their work! I would have expected a warranty on his work should have been given to me! I needed the job done right away, he was pleasant and courteous but never again with this company."

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"

On Monday evening I sent a request for quote to 4 companies, 1 which I chose, and 3 that Angie recommended based on the work category. 2 of the 4 responded quickly saying they didn't do tile repair, which was odd because they were listed by Angie for this. The other 2 never responded. I was home Thursday for another repair, so sent out additional quote requests. Ali responded within a half-hour, and was at the house an hour later to scope the work. He came back today (Friday) and finished everything in about 4 hours. He was very thorough in his inspection, explained the cause of the problems, and provided options. I appreciated that he was honest and explained the pros and cons of each option. He cleaned up all the work sites thoroughly. I will definitely go with Ali (and S & S) for any future tile work."
