"Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."

When I came back they were almost done with a door on one floor. Then they moved to the next floor. It was then that I realized I had been holding my breath. This was working out! The work looked good. They were going the extra mile. They were professional. They were working hard and focused. They asked if I was happy with each item they completed before moving on. Even my picky tenant was happy with the work. I can’t tell you how pleased I am with these guys and their performance. This is the first time I’ve felt like I could rest because my tenant’s checklists were completed. Some have been waiting since August. The work is great. Their attitudes are great.
