It turned out they had someone finishing a job in my neighborhood and was willing to come by and take a look at the situation. Bryan, the technician, was very professional, courteous, and friendly. It was late afternoon when he came by, and he gave the office the information for a quote, and agreed to stay that evening until the job was done. He arranged for another technician to bring a replacement water heater over so he could continue the prep work while waiting for the new heater.
