"I inherited my grandmother's antique rocking chair, but one of the arms had come loose. I searched Angie's List for furniture repair and found Furniture Medic. They had mostly good reviews, and were not too far from my house, so I decided to give them a try. I called them on a Sunday, they were closed, but I left a message on their answering machine. They called me back first thing Monday morning. They said I could either send a photo to get an estimate or bring the chair in. I decided to bring the chair in. They looked it over and said they could fix the arm and also recommended fixing all the joints to make it really sturdy. They quoted me $150, which seemed fair. I was nervous for anyone to work on the chair since it is an antique and has emotional value, but decided to give it a try. Two weeks later they called me to pick it up and it was GREAT! Very sturdy and good as new! <br />"
