We actually had contracted to do some extra work for a few thousand. Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for. He really does great work, listens to the customer (we are guilty of making many changes and talking far too much), but Brandon is beyond patient and willing to work with you. If you are looking to remodel a kitchen, bath, or in general, look no further than Superior. You are hiring someone who truly cares about his work and the customer. Rare in any business these days. "I'd been meaning to find a quality plumber more local to me than the one I'd been using and kept putting it off. Disaster struck yesterday when our hot water heater decided to start leaking water everywhere so in a hurry I decided to focus on "local" and not worry on "quality". Luckily I got both, and fast to boot! I've seen friends of mine go through hot water replacement and it always winds up being a multi-day affair, in this case I had someone at my house less than an hour after I called and by the end of the day we were good to go. Angel pointed out a handful of things surrounding our old heater which also needed improvement, not surprising considering our house predates indoor plumbing and things have just been grafted in here and there over the decades. He even pointed out some electrical work that he recommended we look into having done, again not surprising but it was another sign that he cared about quality and is looking out for his customers. I couldn't have been happier with the whole process and am pleased that I've managed to find a quality, local plumber after all."

"My first experience with Julio was an after-hours discovery that my water heater was going out. I urgently called a few people, then a Boston number for "emergency plumbing." The answering service was very kind and helpful in connecting me to Julio, and through a back and forth process of texts and iphone photos I was instructed how to turn off the water. It took a couple of hours for him to arrive with an assistant named Michael. They evaluated the situation, then offered to purchase a new Hot Water Heater at Home Depot, which they did, and then offered to continue the work and were all finished that evening--a bonus for me. Although I was a bit concerned about the process of having him do that purchase, I was given the receipt from home depot and the labor and installation cost was less than I paid the last time. I paid him the total with AmEx on a portable card reader. He apologized for the condition of the invoice he gave me, since he had to re-use one and it was a bit messy. Also, I wanted to have a TACO overflow valve installed, but our communication was a bit of a challenge, and I don't believe that was done. However, he did a reasonable job of cleaning up a tough basement situation. On the basis of this work, I hired the company again to install a new faucet in the kitchen, and to replace a garbage disposal. This time I shopped for both. Michael was sent at the agreed upon time, and did a fine job on the faucet. When it was time to replace the disposal, he consulted with Julio by phone and asked if I would like him first to try to repair the disposal, quoting me a labor cost that was lower than it would be for replacement. I agreed, and he was able to find the cause of the jam and I returned the new disposal. A happy result. This time I paid by check, I will call again as the need arises. I feel they do good work, with none of the high pressure or cost that I have had in the past with others doing similar work, and they are very nice people."

"I used MA Design & Construction for my kitchen remodel. Raquel and Marc were very helpful in going through the options from painting the existing cabinets through to full replacement. We started with more modest changes but after debate ended with essentially their initial recommendation. The workers throughout the project were professional and I never felt uneasy with them being around the family. As the project progressed there were recommendations that Marc or Raquel would make which led to a better outcome. Marc would also pick out imperfections in the work and insure they were addressed which was appreciated. We're very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again."

"Based on his excellent reviews on Angie's List, I contacted "The Siding Guy" (Joe Wink) for an estimate. I sent him pictures and dimensions of the project, and he came back within a day or two with a reasonable estimate, helped me pick a siding which would match the house (since the siding used on the house has been discontinued) and showed up exactly on time (7:00 AM sharp!) with his crew to do the job. His crew are all experienced craftsmen and they set to work right away. They set up professional aluminum staging (no cheap pump jacks) to keep everyone safe and worked like a racing pit crew with everyone having a specific job. Joe also came up with a couple of clever ways to improve on what I had planned to do, making everything look even better! They finished ahead of schedule, cleaned everything up, walked the job site with me to explain everything they had done and answer my questions. They rolled a big magnet around to make sure that no nails ended up in my driveway or yard. They even left me a little extra siding at my request to keep as spares in case something gets damaged in the future and I need an extra piece or two. Joe and his guys are really nice, polite and friendly. But most importantly, they know what they are doing. These guys are pros and it shows by watching them work and looking at the results. If you need something sided, I don't think you can find anyone better than The Siding Guy!! I would not hesitate to hire him again."
