"tPrompt response, professional appearance and work, very courteous. Price was a little high but worth it because of the quick response and clean professional work done. <br /> Original installation of one of the water heaters was poorly done. Example of this was the top vent was routed into the attic but the connection to the roof vent was not aligned so the vent was left unattached. They corrected this during the installation of the new water heater instead of just leaving it as the original installation had the vent routed. <br /> Not only was the installation of the new water heaters well done but they were also very good about cleaning up before they left the work area. <br /> <br />"

"Drain pipes in wall behind sinks Had been leaking for long time without our being able to locate leak. While they were engaged we also used them to replace three toilets with new low-water styles which required the replacement of the mounting flange in kind bathroom. <br />They did excellent work, and although we did not obtain bids, based on the number of hours/days involved, I think we got good value <br />"

"Victor came to inspect the water leak in garage behind washer. He first thought it was the seal around major pipe leading to the drain line . As this could be a major expense, he asked to return the next day with his supervisor to get a more accurate estimate of the cost. It was determined the cost of repairs was much less After removing part of the wall above the leak. Victor discovered the line from the attic leading to the washer was the culprit, therefore he called for an assistant to help . They worked so hard going from the attic to the garage, and were so professional. I am so pleased with the quality of service and attention to detail from Victor and all who are part of this company, as I have had work done by them in the past. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Bakersfield, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
