"AMAZING! Called around for quotes and Titan Plumbing not only, 1) had the best price! (And that was before they currently had a promotion going on, so even better!) But 2) they were the only ones who were eager to have someone come out that same day or work with your schedule!!! They showed up early, had face masks on and very polite! Luis and Carlos took a look at my water heater and right away could tell what was the issue was just based off what I explained what was wrong. I appreciate a company and their employees that aren't trying to hike up the prices and get a much as they can! They could have gone with the more expensive route but seen a better solution that wasn't going to cost me hundreds of dollars!!! I now have hot water again and it took them less than 30 minutes to fix my water heater! WOW! Thank you Luis and Carlos!!!! Couldn't have had a better experience!!!!!"

FAQs for water heater repair or service projects in Bakersfield, CA

Warning signs include fluctuating water temperatures, a pilot light that repeatedly goes out, unusual noises from the tank, or complete heating failure. You might also detect a rotten egg smell, indicating a potential gas leak, or notice water that never reaches the proper temperature. If your water heater is over eight years old and displaying these symptoms, the gas valve is a likely culprit. Professional inspection is recommended, especially if gas odors are present.

Water heater gas valves are not universally interchangeable. Each valve must match your specific water heater's make, model, and specifications. Important compatibility factors include gas type (natural gas vs. propane), BTU rating, connection types, and physical dimensions. Using an incorrect valve can result in poor performance, premature failure, or dangerous gas leaks. Always consult your water heater's documentation or a professional plumber to identify the appropriate replacement valve for your unit.
