"I have bought gas logs and outdoor furniture from Forshaw in the past, and I value their quality and selection. But for getting my gas logs serviced, I found them significantly overpriced. Getting gas logs serviced in St. Louis seems to be very challenging right now, I assume due to a shortage of technicians; this means often waiting 2-4 weeks for a service. I called Forshaw as I was finding that problem in trying to get a simple service performed on my 12 year old log unit. Since I hadn't purchased this particular unit from Forshaw, though they knew I was a previous customer, I was routed to another rep to schedule the service. That rep didn't call me back as promised, so 1-2 days later I called to track her down. She then put me on the schedule for a date 2 weeks out. <br /> She didn't mention anything about pricing, so I asked, to which she seemed surprised that I hadn't been told pricing already - though I'm not sure when I would have been. She told me there was a $195 service call fee; I expressed surprise at how high that was, as multiple other shops I had contacted charged $125. I then asked if that would likely cover the cost of the simple repair, and the overwhelming impression I got was "no" - parts weren't covered, extra labor wasn't covered, a second service call wasn't covered. Needless to say, I went with someone else, who, by the way fully cleaned and serviced my logs for $125 flat in a single simple visit. <br /> Unfortunately I'd be hard pressed to use Forshaw in the future for service requests. Perhaps they charge the higher rate because they prefer to just service their own units. <br />"

A nice, professional selection of bushes and trees in a bed of rock. This all tied into a paver patio that was laid outside the building's back door for a picnic table area for the employees."
