Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. Sadly our Boiler couldn't be fixed (it was over 30 years old and leaking Carbon Monoxide). They were able to replace it that same day though and stayed until 9pm that night to make sure we would have heat for the cold snap.
