After having three other companies quote it, I selected Water Damage DMV based both on the cost of the estimate, his promptness and communication, and the clarity in answering questions I had. When Carlos arrived to do the work, he went right to it. He worked quickly and kept me informed about what he was finding and how it was going. When he was done with that, he put in humidifiers at first. The next day, he came with help to apply the mold-prevention treatment before adding fans to aid in drying. He checked in daily either in person or by text until it was time to remove them, at which point he came and did so. I was very happy to work with Carlos and Water Damage DMV. While I hope to never need their services again, if I happen to be that unlucky, I know who I will be calling."

Amir came out to our home to assess the flooding situation first.  He explained exactly what would need to be done.  We appreciated that the crew worked to cut out as little drywall as possible in the drying process.  Everything was done very professionally.  The only slight gripe we had was with how the damaged hardwood flooring was removed.  We felt the process could have been a little more "gentle" so that less wood was damaged in the removal process. "

They tore out and removed all the wet carpet and flooring, drywall and cabinets that were damaged then brought in several industrial sized fans and dehumidifiers. They also used some natural mold prevention chemicals that we safe with the kids and pets. <br /> At one point there was a miscommunication with the office about the extent of the damage. With a project this size, this can happen and is excusable when quickly remedied. MasterDry not only quickly remedied it, but went over and above to make sure this was corrected, then they closely monitored the project to completion. <br /> I hope I never need this service again, but God willing and the creek DOES rise... "The crew arrived on the date/time promised. They were polite, professional, and worked non-stop (except for 2 short breaks and lunch). Because of my landscaping, the crew determined the best way to get to the bottom of the foundation was to dig a hole—24” x 8’. It was truly impressive—perfectly squared off. They sealed the wall, replaced the dirt, and replaced decorative stone. They then installed a 50’ French drain—trenching, refilling the trench, and removing excess debris. The crew worked as a team, did a top-notch job, and left the job sites better than they found them. It took them 4 days—and they never wavered from an extraordinary work ethic. That was last week. This week? We’ve had torrential downpours and flooding—but my basement and garage are dry. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat."

I did not understand that they were going to be doing the test on the entire house; I thought it was the bathroom that was infected. So, we had the whole house tested, which I thought was great. "A local competitor quoted me at $2,400 for the 10' x 14' vinyl floor removal. I called Waco and their rep came out quickly. I told him I was going to remove all cabinets, trim, and vents before the floor removal. With me doing some of the leg work, they quoted me at $1,400. How could I pass that price up? We agreed on an appointment a few weeks later (the delay was my request). They showed up on time and ready to work. The man who came to my house to give me the quote (Keith M.) also came out that morning to supervise the set up and double check the foreman's plan of action. He left after he felt they were headed in the right direction. I was glad that he took the time to come by and double check his workers. The removal went fairly quickly. They got the two layers of vinyl flooring out down to the subfloor in about 3 hours. They contract a laboratory to run an air quality test after the removal but before they tear down the protective sheeting. Unfortunately, this air quality test takes over an hour. So they are left sitting in their truck outside with no other work to do until the lab gives them the thumbs up to tear everything else down. Not their fault I suppose. Payment was made after their work was done and they emailed me the air quality report from the lab. Should I ever need their services again, I will definitely hire this company."
