The gentleman that came to do the service was polite, professional and took the time to explain everything to us. Initially I called other companies for quotes and most of them did not want to give me even an estimate. On the other hand Affordable water heaters was very upfront quoting an estimate and even quoted prices to us for water heater replacement in case that was needed. In addition, I was told that they guaranteed the lowest price, so if anyone should quote me a lower price (which no one did) their company would match it. "The first time Ryan came, he had removed the chandelier and was putting the new one together when he found a defect or damage due to shipment on the new one.  It was something that could not be fixed.  So he put the old one back up and advised me to call when the replacement arrived.  
Ryan called me to see if the new light had arrived and since it did we scheduled another appointment and he arrived on time and checked the new light and proceeded to install the new chandelier which went without a hitch.  Then he installed the new ceiling fan in the entranceway and again it swiftly went without a hitch.
I was absolutely thrilled with the work Ryan did and he is down to earth, personable, and swift worker.  I could not be happier and wish I had not purchased another special deal from another guy because I have more work to do and Ryan is faster and better priced.  So anyway you can't go wrong with hiring Ryan.  He is honest and reliable and will not putz around to use up your time.  I purchased the 3 hour $79 special deal and he did got it all done in that time frame, so no extra charges. Yay!!!

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
