"Excellent, This is a wonderful company that donated their time and services free to the church, Our church is small and with very limited resources. Texas Vargas Electrical Contractors saw the need and filled the need. Because of his generosity we can now have outdoor events & activities, without the electric breakers tripping, and can even serve cooked food. I can't give enough compliments or praises for an awesome job well done.
I would recommend Texas Vargas Electrical Contractors to everyone, he is dependable, professional, honest, hardworking, well spoken, knowledgeable of his trade, and is licensed and insured.
I have used other electricians in the past and was unsatisfied, you won't be disappointed with Texas Vargas Electrical Contractors.

"When I requested the service from Curtis for Saturday I understood the cost would be $142.50 per hour. However, Curtis described how they did not charge extra for having a helper accompany the electrician. I interpreted this to mean that two people would be dispatched to do the work, The cost seemed reasonable for two people on a Saturday. Only one person came and he was not an electrician. He was a journeyman. The estimated time for completing the work was 4 hours. The work was not completed in 10 hours (2 hours for lunch) after which I sent the journeyman home and resolved to complete the work myself. The quality of the electrical aspect of the work seems acceptable. The only error I have discovered so far is that the light switch was installed upside down. I have not yet installed the fan units, so I have to reserve judgement on those electrical connections. Had a helper been dispatched with the journeyman I think the work would have proceeded according to the 4 hour time estimate that Curtis originally made. After some discussion Curtis reluctantly reduced the number of hours to 6 from the 8 hours charged by the journeyman. Overall this performance seems about average for a service company. In the future I will search for above average performers.

"Gary was excellent. He is professional and full of helpful ideas and suggestions, including cost saving ones! Our attic flooring looks amazing. He also replaced ceiling fans and outlets, installed a fountain and replaced a lot of rotted window trim. I highly recommend Gary!"

"This was a case of a gigantic, multi-ton high-voltage machine being hobbled by a very tiny and loose low-voltage wire that had probably loosened due to vibrations, and eventually disconnected within its little insulator cap. The expensive Nest smart thermostat helped to solve the problem by indicating that it wasn't receiving the voltage that it needed to do its job and to keep its emergency battery fully charged. In order for the Nest thermostat to indicate this situation (since its battery had completely discharged), it was necessary for me (the owner) to purchase a micro-USB-to-USB cable from Radio Shack ($16) so that the Nest thermostat's battery could be externally re-charged, thus enabling the LCD display to be viewed and interpreted. Since the technician had to go up onto the roof to open the air-conditioner to get to the Rh wire connector, he also checked all of the other voltages and connections and determined that all were as they should be.
