"We love our new windows, and we would highly recommend the company! Everything from the initial estimate/sales set-up through final installation has been so professional and well-done. We initially reached out a few years ago to get estimates on windows for the entire house (along with a few other companies), and with Craftsmen, we never felt pressured or like anyone wasted our time with an annoying sales pitch. We decided to wait, and we reached back out at the end of 2020 to get updated estimates. They still had all of our information and were very helpful and prompt at getting updated totals. We had some concerns with ordering (as it was in the early days of the pandemic) depending on regional closures or delays, and they were reassuring and flexible with our plan. During the installation process, everyone was so professional. Often with outside contractors, people default communicating with my husband, yet I'm the one coordinating, so it can often be frustrating, but that was absolutely not the case with Craftsmen. Everyone was very kind and respectful no matter who they were talking with. Besides just getting all of our windows replaced, we also had a large wall cut out and a custom window added, which we were a bit nervous how that would go with our stucco, and it turned out beautifully, and it was such a nice relief to know that no matter what - the crew would handle it. It was quite the undertaking and a very large investment from us, but it was so worth it for how beautiful everything looks inside and out and how seamless the process went."

"We had a different landscaping company come out and install "flagstone" over our existing limestone path. Not only did they do a horrible job, they also destroyed our drain tile which I had flagged for them and left large ruts in our yard. It took them 6 weeks to come back and "fix" the path and "repair" the drain tile. The path looked even worse than it did before the "fix", I had to run the skid steer because the two guys they sent out did not know how to operate one, and they had to use drain tile I had on site because they didn't bring any. To top it off, when they replaced the drain tile, they didn't use a union on one end, and just set the pipe up next to the old pipe, and for some reason they took the sock off as if they did not understand what it was for! It was a complete nightmare. Enter Lester and his crew. They came out, and even though the stones were not the right material for a flagstone path, they were able to take them all out and reuse them to create a beautiful path. Choosing the right company is so important for any project, and I can confidently say that "In The Rough Stonework & Landscaping" is the right place to hire for any of your stone work or landscaping needs! "We actually found Redstone by accident, we were on our way to look at model homes in Stone Mill Farms in Woodbury and saw a new model open house sign, we decide to stop and take a look. Upon entering Redstone's model home we knew right away that this was the home we wanted. Redstone's sales representative Nathan Chaika took the time to walk us through the home and point out details we would have missed. <br /> <br /> After spending several hours with Nathan, my wife and I made the decision that we wanted Redstone to build our home. We did look at several other home builders and had experience in the past with a national builder and could not believe the value Redstone provided. <br /> <br /> We set up our initial meeting with Bob Appert & Dan Larson of Redstone to discuss what we wanted in our new home. From the very beginning working with Bob & Dan was excellent. They were both available to answer any questions we had at anytime and review any details we wanted. They explained the details of their construction process and how our new home was going to exceed building standards. <br /> <br /> When designing our house we wanted to highlight our kitchen and master bathroom, Redstone came through with flying colors. Our kitchen features a 48" dual fuel Viking range with 6 gas burners and griddle plate. Glass tile backsplash and granite counter top round out our dream kitchen <br /> <br /> Of course our selection process was made much easier with the help of designer Evan Cohoe. Redstone actually provided us as part of their package a designer to help us make all our selections. Evan made sure we were going down a path that we would be happy with and made recommendations where needed. <br /> <br /> I can not say this enough, the overall quality, design and completion our our project could not have gone any better. Redstone did everything they promised and exceed our expectations. The day we moved into our home it actually felt like a home and was comforting to be here from the very beginning. <br /> <br /> We have already made the decision the Redstone will finish our basement. We will not go out for bids because we trust Bob & Dan and they will not lead us down a path that is not right for us."

"I bid approximately 10 different people across three categories: landscapers, contractors and masons. The landscapers were stumped given it was structural and it was graduated (grew from small to tall). The contractors were very matter of fact as were most of the masons; demo it and build it with this one brick style that they were accustomed to using. Scott came out and was very self-assured as to how he was going to tackle the project and he explained how he was going to do it and why. Prior to this however, on the phone, he sent us to his website to check out all the retaining walls he had previously done, both structural and more for esthetic purposes (my words) I will say. After he explained his approach, he then got out his brick catalog and gave us a couple of options then he would recommend. Then, he saw that we had a large tree nearby and recommended that perhaps we might want to go with a smooth vs. textured stone so that all the sap and other tree droppings wouldn't cling to the brick. This is the type of attention to detail that Scott brings to the project. He was right on budget, his team was very pleasant and very nice, and they were very clean when they were done. I would use them again in a minute. I am not sure that there isn't anything with stone that Scott hasn't done. <br />"
