"Excellent experience. I had Ashiatsu bars installed. These bars have to be installed with the utmost precision according to the users body specs as well as table to floor specs, so I was a little nervous, no actually I was REALLY nervous about them getting it right, but these guys followed the blueprints exactly as described and only took about 4 hrs to complete and they're perfect! Also, the price quoted over the phone was exactly the price I paid. No surprises. I will definitely have them back for other projects in the future. ð"

"they came out on monday to assess the window - give an estimate - since the qwindow was a double pane lowE / argon window with interior grids between glass , the gentelman informed me that it woul dbe a 5 day lead time to order and manufature the glass unit because it was special order - we did the necesary paper work , gave him a small deposit , and he measured the glas and got it ordered - well the 5 day turnaround actually only eneded up taking 4 days and he had the job done by friday - and it was super fast - he was in and out in 45 mins - start to finish - left my house very clean - washe dthe window - removed the old broken glass and went on his way - very professional , reliable, and curteous . very friendly - overall the job went great - and it was affordable - i have had them do work on my home in the past - replacing foggy glass , broken glass , replacing glass in my patio doors , ....i would defiantely use them and refer them to anyone else in need fo glass work - they have been around for 30+ years and i can see why - they left me very satidfied and happy with the jobs theyve done for me in my home

"Here's the good, the bad and the ugly. Bob spent a lot of time answering my questions and was very thorough on the initial consultation. Pricing was comprable to three other estimates I received during that time but wasn't the lowest. Here's the good: We decided to go with a pre-selected shingle that wasn't in stock with Bob's suppliers but he did find a local supplier that had just enough on hand at the last minute. He passed along only the small upcharge for the more expensive shingle. Installation quality seems descent. Shingle overhang is nice and even and visually looks very neat. Bob said he would give us extra winterguard rapping on the back edge of roof for no extra cost due to the amount of soffit overhang. I was especially impressed when his team supervisor actually fixed a problem caused by the previous roofer repair and did not charge me for it. The bad: 1. After a long wait time to begin work I seem to keep getting longer, there was another two-week start delayed due to the supervisor having problems with his truck. During this time the weather turning cold and icy. 2. I asked Bob if he would supervise the job but he said he is not on the job sites but that I can trust his team supervisor who has been with him for over 20 years. So I did. When I came home from work one day the waste dumpster was parked right in front of my garage doors. Someone assumed that I would not need to get in and out of the garage. That was a very bad assumption because my wife is a fall risk and needs to park inside the garage. This was in December and the driveway was becoming icy. The dumpster was moved promptly to the proper spot but no one contacted me to ask me where I wanted it located in the first place. 3. During installation Bob and I walked around to look at the progress and I noticed the roof paper was torn on a corner of the garage. He said his team would make it right before shingling over it. The Ugly. On the final walk-through Bob told me that a deck railing post cap was damaged from his team's work. This was not a big deal and the post cap was only $10. But he did not have the damaged cap nor was it found anywhere. I think his team threw it away. More likely this was a diversion for much more damaged railing that I did not find until the spring because the snow was falling during the final walk through. See the attached pictures. There are scratches, scuff marks, and tar marks on three six foot spans of railing that were not there before. My neck is relatively new. The scratches and scuff marks on the railing match the angle at which they threw off old pieces of shingle that hit the railing. I sent the pictures to Bob along with the itemized replacement cost of all the railing pieces. Total was $174. This was the first week in April when the snow and ice was finally all gone and I was out on the deck and noticed it. To date Bob has not responded. Just be aware of what you're getting into with this contractor and if you're willing to risk the bad and the ugly for the good. I will not recommend Northeast Ohio Renovations to any of my friends or relatives. That's a big price to pay for $174."

"We engaged Danny beginning in October 2013 to do a series of house update projects for us. The initial project was to replace our laundry room sink and faucet plus redo our first floor half bath. For the half bath update we had him replace the toilet with a low flush model, replace the sink, faucet, mirror, and cabinet. This project was speced in mid-October with the work finished in mid-November.
The second project was to replace the master bath sink faucets and the toilet with a low flush model. This was planned in mid-November and finished just after Thanksgiving. While installing the hardware  for this project, Danny noticed what appeared to be water damage that could only have come from slow leaks in the shower area and pointed it out to us.
Based on Danny's comments about the leaks and the problem we were having with recurring mold growth in the master bath shower, we had Danny do a third project to replace our master bath enclosed shower and add an access panel and shutoff valves. This project was planned in mid-December but the actual installation didn't start until the beginning of January based on our request to avoid the disruption during the holidays. Due to a manufacturer's error with the shower enclosure, the project didn't actually finish until early February because the original enclosure that they sent was not what Danny had ordered and didn't fit the space. Had the error not happened, the project would have been finished by the third week of January. BTW, Danny's observations about the leaks were proved correct when he started the shower replacement work and found that the original installer had only partially-installed waterproof backing board which lead to slow damage and likely our recurring mold problems over the years.
Throughout these projects, Danny was both an integral part of the design process and the craftsman who did the required work. He showed us catalogs of the hardware, cabinet, shower enclosure, and tile options. He made recommendations based on our comments and adjusted plans to fit our needs. He also pointed out where there might be problems and recommended options to work around them. He was our partner in the projects, not just an installer.
Danny's workmanship is excellent. Everything he installed works well and looks great. He always took care to make sure there was no damage to existing items when fitting new items into place. He kept the workareas clean and made sure that dust was both contained and removed. He took away the old cabinets and hardware and disposed of them properly.
Danny was very good at arriving when he said he would. If there were problems, he promptly informed us about any delays or if he wouldn't make it at all on a scheduled day.
This wasn't the first time Danny had worked for us. A couple of years ago, he re-did our guest bathroom. The results of that project were excellent. He worked for another company at that time but we made sure to find him to work on these projects for us. We would happily use his services for any future projects.

FAQs for mirrors installation and replacement projects in Beachwood, OH

If your mirror needs recoating, mirror resilvering costs between $110 and $350. Otherwise, you can replace just the glass if your mirror has a frame. You can get a mirror cut at a home improvement store or cut it yourself with a glass cutting tool. If the damage is extensive, there’s a chance you’ll have to replace both the frame and the glass.

Mirrors come in nearly any size, with your local home improvement store usually having 48-inch by 72-inch mirrors for a home gym or dance studio. You can also buy custom-designed mirrors in whatever size fits your needs. Oversized mirrors often start at $1,000 or more, depending on the size and design.

Mirrors are expensive because manufacturing them requires specialized machinery, such as a furnace that reaches ultra-high temperatures to produce molten glass, then a way to cool and form the glass. You cut mirrors with a diamond saw and coat them with metal to create a reflective surface. A silver-backed mirror also requires a chemical process, though most mirrors have an aluminum backing now. A framed mirror can also add to the price.

To look for a quality mirror, consider its purity, flatness, thickness, and reflective coating on the glass. The glass purity can ensure a distortion-free reflection, and thicker glass can decrease the chances of distortion as well. The reflective coating makes a difference, and high-quality mirrors will have several thicker coats of reflective material, like tin-mercury, aluminum, or silver.
