The work involves 1) nailing a piece of 1X4 lumber to the joist to create a horizontal cross beam for a security monitor camera so it can turn 360 degrees to monitor Racoon activity, 2) dealing with thick insulation materials in the attic, 3) Installed an outlet for the camera 4) has to be careful not to step on the ceiling. By no means is this a simple, ordinary task. I am glad the Technician was able to perform the job well. Unfortunately, they are very expensive."

They quickly isolated the problem.  There are outlets outside the house.  One of them was missing a cover causing water to get into the outlet and causing the short.  They installed covers and did whatever else needed to be done to resolve the he problem.

They were very professional, and took the time to explain the problem.  Previously, the company was here to do a repair.  I can't recall what it was, but at that time they also did excellent work.  In addition to making the necessary repairs, they gave me a checklist and estimates of items that needed addressing.  At that time, there was a lot going on (we had just moved in), and although they explained the items on the list, I didn't focus.  At the recent service call, I dragged out the checklist, and asked the men to explain it again.  They sat down and took the time to thoroughly explain all items on the list and answer all my questions.

"They were remarkable. First, they excavated the minimum needed to repair our drain and install the CIPP liner. They saved our front cement and brick staircase (directly over the main house sewer line). They only removed one section of the sidewalk that was over the main house sewer line. When done, they filled and compacted the dirt, covered the lawn with straw (i.e., ready for me to add seed and to avoid erosion) and replaced the damaged sidewalk section. The workers were polite and respectful of both us and our property. There was truly minimal disruption to the household. We could not flush toilets or run water down the drains for about 3 hours each day they worked on the line. We contracted for repair of the pipe that was on our property. They completed this work in two days. We then added re-lining the pipe under the road to the county connection. The team added people for and worked late on the second day. Job done on day 3. The job took 3 days (as promised)."
