"We bought a camper recently that had a leak in the roof, which caused mold and had a pretty pungent odor. They assured us they could handle the job and were in good hands. We couldnâ t be happier with the service or results. Would definitely recommend."

"The company was hired for cleaning mold in our rental property. The process was very organized from the initial contact, evaluation, explanation of their service and cost involved and the treatments to remove the mold. Very transparent, in a timely manner, and professionally done. Highly recommended"

"It was a big job, but Keith and Ann arrived early at 8:45am and completed the project at 3:45pm. They covered all areas surrounding each vent with drop cloths and worked throughout the house. The air duct cleaning unit is self contained, but they made sure to vacuum up any residual debris from removing the vents. They also washed and re-installed all vents. Keith also did a small repair on an air duct in my attic that was letting in warm air at no charge! This is the 2nd time I have used Clean Pro and they were just as courteous, prompt, and organized as ever. I would definitely recommend their services! They also provide a number of other services you can look into on their website. I plan to have our fabric sectional sofa and dining room chairs stain sealed in the future. They also clean drapes and carpet. A+ for Clean Pro!"

"We hired Hometown Restoration after we had a shower leak throughout our bathroom and into our kitchen. Hometown Restoration came out and completed a thorough evaluation. They removed all affected drywall, repaired some dry rot framing, and treated the entire area with anti-mold spray. They were very professional and completed the job a day ahead of what they projected."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Premier for mold removal in my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, they handled everything professionally and efficiently. They arrived promptly and conducted a thorough assessment of the situation. Their expertise was evident, and they explained the process in a way that was easy to understand. The prices were very reasonable compared to other quotes I received, which made this stressful situation a bit easier to manage. I want to give a special shoutout to Ron, who was incredibly comforting throughout this traumatic time. He took the time to address all my concerns and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. His compassion and professionalism truly made a difference. Overall, I highly recommend Premier for any mold removal needs. They did a wonderful job, and Iâ m so grateful for their help during a challenging time for myself and family. Thank you, Premier!"

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in New Orleans, LA

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
