"When I needed a major plumbing job I went to Green Planet Plumbing. I found their very impressive ad on the internet, and called for an estimate. Tyler Brown the owner came out and went over the job explaining what they would need to do, the time it would take, and the total cost. I was very impressed with the professional and friendly meeting with Tyler and decided to schedule the job. The day we set up Justin and Mike showed up introduced themselves and went to work. The first day they dug the trench to install a new waterline from the street to the house. The trench was about 40 feet long of very hard digging in rocky ground, and they to my amazement completed it that day. They laid the new pipe the next day, called for the city inspector to come out, and finished the job the next day. My wife and I were very impressed with Justin and Mike and enjoyed talking and spending time with them. "My elderly mother is partially blind and disabled. On November 1, 2021 her washing machine broke leaking water in her home. In desperation she called rotor rooter. Roto rooter came out, stopped the leak, and put dryers in and left. They returned a few days later to remove the dryers. The technician quoted my mother a cost of about $3000.00. My mother signed a contract but could not see what she was signing. After Roto rooter Reno removed the dryers they sent a bill to my mother for $9000.00. The contract she signed stated Roto rooter would remove walls, roofing, insulation, baseboard, tile etc. Roto rooter didn’t do any of those things. Roto rooter is price gauging and took advantage of an elderly disabled woman. Roto rooter technicians were in the home no more than 3 hours total. First my mother did not have capacity to enter into a contract as she couldn’t see what she was signing. 2 Roto rooters technicians told her the cost would be about $3000.00. 3 Roto rooter did not do the work in the contract. I believe Roto rooter is commuting elder abuse and fraud."
