"The installer arrived for the appointment on time.  No opener had ever been installed on my garage door.   The installer pointed out how the hardware on my garage door had been assembled incorrectly.  Consequently, he made corrections to the hardware and installed a metal bracket to the ceiling of the garage without charge.  I was glad the installer asked about my desired placement of the keypad.   When finished, the installer provided comprehensive verbal instructions (accompanied by the owner?s manual) about the operation of the door opener. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
