"Had a repairman come out to troubleshoot my A/C a few days ago. The issue was the start capacitor for the fan. This is a common failure. The repairman was professional and diagnosed the issue fairly quickly. The issue I have was with the bill. First of all, it's written like a story instead of a line stating labor and a line for parts. I had to call the company to get an accurate explanation. The labor was $ 89.00. The replacement capacitor was $ 617.61. I was shell shocked about the cost and asked a manager about the price. He stated that the capacitor cost the company around $ 200.00 and that there was a five-year warranty. I researched the cost of the capacitor and its available at many vendors for around $ 70.00 retail. I feel marking the part up to 900% is too much. Even though I was upset with the service that I got from one of the text who I would call vindictive I wanted to the office that next morning, and I asked for a manager, and I got Mr. Curtis, and Mr. Curtis told me that he would come out to the house and he would bring a check with him and his name was Travis. And when I tell you that Mr. Curtis made me feel like he was a superman like he could just change everything and he , as a manager went up underneath my house to check and see if there was anything wrong the unit to see if there was anything wrong in it Iâ ll say Travis and also the inside of the house. And again I say, Mr. Curtis, Iâ ll give you a 10 for everything that you did , you change my mind about the way I felt about the service tech at Blantons and sometimes it takes just one to renew your faith and a thing even though my faith is in God but faith and people and I thank you for everything that you did Blantons truly has a jewel and Mr. Curtis and Travis too because heâ s good in his right But I think you not to say that I donâ t have a problem with the unit, but Iâ m satisfied.
