"The majority of the time I contacted this company the people answering the phone were very friendly and courteous. On the day of my install, the last person I spoke to was not as nice. Regardless, that didn’t give me a bad impression of the company as a whole. Chad, the service technician, was awesome. He took the time to inform me of my options on repairing or replacing my hot water heater without attempting to sway my decision. Once installed, he made sure that the water was flowing normally from every faucet. He then informed me of everything he did during the install. Chad definitely gets an A in customer service and experience."

The bathtub was backing up and draining very slow, and when the kitchen faucet was running, dirty water was coming up in through the bathtub drain. And as soon as everything began to thaw, (on Friday night) we found that we had a ruptured hot water pipe. Water was shooting out of the wall all over the bathroom. They were minor now but could have turned into bigger problems down the road. His thoroughness and attention to detail allowed him to spot these hidden problems and save us headaches down the road. We had our water working in under an hour (on a Saturday evening!) and he charged a very fair price given the demands upon his time. He left our house at 5pm, his phone blowing up from other customers. I asked if he was going to have an end to the day soon, but he said he still had hours to go...he had promised other worried homeowners that he would help them today. THAT's the kind of dedication I want from my plumber. Call Charlie with confidence."

"Not the best. I had work done from this company about a month ago. It was a 6 hour job, was responsibly priced and they did a great job. Had this company come out again today due to a small and slow leak (different issue than previous visit). I was quoted double what the first job cost and this job is just replacing a single pipe. "Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years.
