"I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.

"Pablo arrived a little later than the appointment time, but he was polite and professional, and still completed the project on time. The tub looks amazing, the caulk is perfect. There is some residue left on the bronze piping that I can't wash off yet without damaging the glaze. I'm hoping it's easy to clean up. He did put up a protective sheet to protect the house, it probably would have been worthwhile if he also covered the shower hardware. I wasn't expecting the exhaust tube to run through the house to the front door, but he said the bathroom window was too close. It made sense when I saw the equipment, it was just unexpected. He laid down a cloth to protect the wood floors. All in all, good service, good price, and I would hire again."

"Architecture Stones were wonderful to work with. They helped us track down a very economical slab of quartzite that fit our space, and had a remnant in their yard, such that together the two pieces would cover our needs. This cut the price down and they were very helpful. They had software that allowed us to view an image of our slab + remnant with the counter footprint overlain, so that we could see how the veins of the quartzite would sit on the counters. We were able to make adjustments to the plan to get more of the veins and into view on the our island. Isaac Shon was really fun to work with and always in a great mood."

"Good communication from provider, however they do not do the work that I need performed (grout install and sealing). As you can see from their email reply below Nutra Care do grout cleaning and sealing. Hi Randy, Thanks for your reply. You've mentioned you need re-grouting, our special is not for re-grouting (as in putting in new grout and or redoing old grout to new), it is only for cleaning the grout and than sealing it. If you are looking for cleaning of the tile & grout than sealing only please let us know, and we will schedule your tile cleaning around the dates you've requested. "Juan and his dad are very friendly very hard workers. On the floor refinishing. They refinished 20+ year old floors. They replaced water damaged wood. Very good job. There are sanding marks in some areas, but overall very good. They just need to slow down a little. On tile install: Looks good, but tile is not professionally level. It's nicely done, but few tiles are not well lined up, and not level. We had a very large floor area to install but I don't recall them using a level. It certainly looks good. They still need to come back and finish a few things (thresholds). I've called Juan once, but need to call him again to remind him.... I would recommend them. They are good on price, they need to slow down a bit, and finish up."
