"Progressive Builders built as a covered patio. The estimator came out 3 weeks in advance to give us the quote and he was very patient as we tried to haggle and whittle down our initial plan. The chief designer came with a beautiful and suitable design for our patio, which came with a large window, sprinklers and four weepholes. All the members who came to build our patio were courteous and hardworking, even when the rain hits."

"With Cielo Construction I had the best experience we had... I think this review is the best way to express how happy we are with Cielo Construction, as they designed build for us a separate guest house in the back yard. The entire addition project went fast and smooth, we can’t believe how fast they built the whole guest house including the walls, roof, floor covering and more… each week we could see a change in the construction. Before we hired them for the job, we got at least 5 other estimates from other companies who came over to check the job and to see what’s involved. Almost all them send us their salesman with low knowledge and lots of promising about what we will get from them and just pushing us to sign the contract that same day. With Sam everything was easy and calm! He showed a very high skills and knowledge which proved to us that they are no less than professional company that know exactly what they are doing. "I wanted a new kitchen design in my Beverly Hills Condo. The current version was pretty up to date but I do a lot of cooking and wanted a multi-surface counter top for easier clean up. I found goodfellas because my neighbors were working with them and they did an impeccable job. They were able to come in for a walk though and I signed up right away because I was itching for a new kitchen. The project manager Ran stopped by with many samples of countertops and walked me through the pros and cons of all of them. We used two different materials throughout the kitchen to be compatible with my  constant baking and easy clean up. I had to go out of town during part of the remodel due to an emergency but Ran sent me updates and pictures the entire time. They really care about building strong relationships and do a great quality job.

"This was a fairly big project for us—adding a room and replacing the roof—but it went much better than expected. Ron handled coordination well and kept things moving even when small issues came up. The end result looks clean, solid, and well built."

"I have a 2 bed/1bath townhouse.  The bathroom is small which is why I wanted professional input on how to make it a better space, perhaps ideas on storage/built-ins etc.  I thought that we would discuss (in general) cabinets/tile/paint etc and that he would be able to show me a 3-D picture of what my bathroom would look like once remodeled.  Maybe I got that idea from the title on the voucher or I watch too much HGTV.
He showed up on time and was professional.  I don't remember his name.  But he said that my bathroom was 'too small' to create a 3-D picture.  I found that a little ironic since the quote given to me was $10,000 for a remodel of my small bathroom. Especially considering that I wanted to keep my floors and I already had a marble countertop left over from the kitchen remodel.  
Beyond that, he did not have any additional design ideas on how to make the space more usable.  He did show me pictures of tile work from other jobs, which was nice, but I was expecting more.  
So be warned, if you have a 'small bathroom' they will NOT be able to provide a 3-D rendering of your bathroom.  Basically I paid $49 for a quote.

"I called 3 general contracting companies that I found on Angie's list. Out of the 3 companies, it came down to Country Wide Home Builders and one other company that I was deciding between. I decided to go with Country Wide because Tom, the owner of the company, showed me that he really understood what I was trying to achieve with the remodel. The house I recently purchased was built in the 1950's and needed some major renovations. Tom came with his laptop, made some very accurate measurements of my home, and put all of the measurements in this computer program that he had that gave me a real 3-D image of my home and what it would look like after the remodel. This is really key because many contractors can tell you that they understand what it is that you want but you are never sure; and when they start working on your home there may be some misunderstandings that come up as is usually the case, and your home might not end up looking exactly as you pictured it or other issues may arise due to the misunderstanding. With the program I saw exactly how my house was going to look at different angles, down to the number of recessed lights that I would have in each room. I actually saw that Tom knew what I had envisioned. It also helped that Tom was willing to work with me on the price of my remodel and did end up giving me the best bid. Also, Tom assured me that the price that we had agreed upon was the final price, there were no hidden agendas and I would not be charged more for any normal unexpected things that may come up (obviously we are not talking about major disasters). Once Tom and his staff started working on my home, everything went smoothly. I am a busy mom with three kids under the age of 5 so I did not have a lot of time to spend at the home while they were remodeling. I hired Tom to supervise everything so that I wouldn't have to worry about every little thing. He would call me every morning to let me know what they were going to do that day and call me again in the evening to let me know what was done. Tom went with me to pick out my granite and flooring so I wasn't on my own running from place to place trying to find what I wanted, I told him what I wanted and he took me to the places where he thought I might find what I was looking for and I did, he made things really easy for me. His staff were all very friendly, easy to talk to, and did great work. There were some unexpected things that came up since my house is older, like having multiple layers of drywall to remove and dealing with asbestos in my attic among other things and Tom took care of everything without making any of it an issue. Tom even suggested installing in-wall speakers in the living room for me because he thought it would be something nice to have and did it without charging me anything extra. He also installed a few more recessed lights than we had agreed upon, after making sure that it was okay with me, because he thought it would look nicer and also did not charge for it. Tom is a genuinely nice person who does care that your house ends up looking the way you want it to look if not better. I can tell you that my kitchen ended up looking even better than what I envisioned, and saw on the 3-D program. Tom and his staff did such a great job on the interior of my house, and finished a couple of weeks ahead of schedule, that I am currently having them build a new wall for me in the backyard and stucco my current cinderblock wall around my yard to make it look more updated. I am so happy that I chose Country Wide Home Builders for my project and would do it all again and refer them to my friends. Thank you for everything, Tom, you are great!"
