"Sal did a good job cleaning the dirt off the driveway and pool area pavers.  Thought his price was a little high.  The issue we have is that he got so much dirt in our pool that I have been cleaning the pool for the last three days and the water is still not clear. I never had this problem with other Angie's list vendors that I have used in the past and when I did the job myself.
When I mentioned this to Sal, he stated "that's how it is, that's collateral damage."  I wasn't pleased with this response.

"We are very pleased with our experience with this company. They did a wonderful job installing new floors in our home. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable, always willing to guide customer towards the right direction. When we started shopping for wood floors, we did not know what we wanted. We researched online to see the difference between the type of wood floors and visited different stores. What I liked about Martinez was that the owner took the time to explain us in detail the difference between engineered and solid hardwood floors, gave us the space to deliberate which one we wanted, and didn't push for the sale. We ended up choosing a solid oak floor. Beautiful material and for a great price. It took about a week to get the wood and then acclimate it for a another week, I think. When it was ready, they began the installation, which included a staircase as well. They are very honest and respectful people. You can talk to the owner about your worries and we would answer you as soon as I can. They started installing the floor and worked fast, clean, and organized. When it comes to payment, they required a deposit to buy all the materials, (wood has to be paid in total) to order it, and when they are finished, you revise and approve the job to pay the rest. We are very meticulous when it comes to everything, I can recommend this company. The floors turned out beautiful, after the installation we decided to stain it to change the color, great decision. Oh boy our wood floors look amazing. I am rating this company 5 stars because there's no 10. Highly recommended folks"

"AAA construction is the contractor we hired to remodel our house. Kitchen, bathrooms, floors, essentially the entire interior of the home. From day one, until we moved in and even until recently when a small adjustment needed to be made, their professionalism, attention to detail and talents as contractors were second to none. We met with many contractors before we sat down with John to discuss our plans and before Dustin came to our house to start the remodel. I can honestly say that we were lucky in hiring them. These days it is difficult to find a skilled much less honest contractor to perform even simple jobs. When you add the knowledge and experience they have I believe it would be very difficult to match. Their work ethic is what some of us would refer to as old school. Again this is something you can appreciate after you meet with enough other companies and realize how many impostors there are in Dade County. "We changed all our old Windows and doors for hurricane Windows. Total of 19 units. Overall the sales team (Jerry) and custom et service were nice and efficient. The team who installed the windows was really nice to have around. They did a very good job, especially considering the condition of our old house and the various strange window openings we had there. The result is really nice and our house is really different and a hundred times better. The pice was more or less the same of the competitors ; we just felt we were in the hand of more serious, responsive and reliable people and we were right."
