"Prima Construction (Kim Studham and crew) completed a bathroom remodel in our St. Paul home in Jan 2019. I was excited to work with a women contractor, she really knows her stuff, the results are beautiful. During the project, I appreciated Kim's weekly emails to summarize progress and the plan for the next week. Kim always responded to questions and made sure we were happy with the work. When remodeling an almost 100-year-old bathroom with the original drain pipes it is kind of all or nothing. They even saved us a few items found in the floorboards from 1922. I have many pieces of mind with all the pipes replaced and know it is good for a very long time. The bathroom has been transformed, it now has a shower and the old bathtub was replaced with beautiful new soaking tub. Kim showed me multiple options for the final trim details. It all came together. The design includes a classic white subway tile with this amazing patterned floor tile. "Greg and D-Tails get my highest recommendation. I wanted to have an exterior door installed in my kitchen, where there was a window. I had three contractors out for an estimate, including Greg. The other two contractors informed me that this was a huge project that would exceed many thousands of dollars and would require a stucco company that was difficult to schedule. Greg provided a prompt and reasonable estimate without any fuss or dramatics. Greg quickly obtained the permit, and his team worked fast and did a stellar job. We are thrilled!! Greg also volunteered--volunteered!--to provide us with materials so we could do our own little demo project in another area of the house. He told us what to do and picked up his materials when we were done. He could've easily charged us for the materials or told us that we shouldn't do it ourselves. Instead, he was honest and didn't rip us off. I'll definitely be calling Greg again for future projects."
