They explained the process without adding jargon or trying to sell me on the services that I didn't need. The overall cost was extremely reasonable and the quality of work was excellent. They are one of the few contractors I found that did not mind if I had my own garage door openers rather than having to purchase theirs. I found them on Angie's List and highly recommend them to other members. I had two poorly functioning wooden garage doors replaced and two new garage door openers installed. Total cost (not including the openers I already had) was $2,600. After texting him door measurements and a few pictures of the work to be done, George gave me an instant (and accurate) quote. A few days later, his team showed up after letting me know that day that they were running an hour behind. The delay didn't bother me, and I appreciated their prompt communication. Once they showed up, they went right to work, installing one new opener and servicing both doors (new springs on one door) -- finishing in about 1 hour. "My family recently purchased a home that is 10 years old and during the inspection, an issue came up with the safety mechanism that keeps the garage door from closing down on an obstruction (like your car, kid, or pet). I called ABC Garage and the customer service was very thorough in explaining that older models to not have that feature, so she walked me through the various models and pricing in case we wanted to replace the unit. We have young kids, so I knew we'd probably want to go with the upgrade. The day of the service call, the technician arrived promptly and verified that the current system was old enough that it didn't have this safety feature. We discussed the options again (he had all three models in his van) and he installed it promptly. When that was completed, he also showed how the garage door itself could use to be adjusted so it made less noise when opened. I was happy to pay the additional fee to get that resolved. All told, it was a very positive experience - professional, thorough, friendly, and timely. There is a 5-year warranty on the unit and 1-year labor warranty, but I expect this product to last much longer in the future."

"We just purchased our first home and while we love the home, we are pretty sure it had the original garage door on it from the late 90s so our top priority was replacing the door and opener both . He also replace the rubber strip on the bottom of each garage door (not expected but appreciated).
