Within a day, Trend Mechanics looked for new Unit, bought it, installed, and filed extended warranty for up to 10 years with the manufacturer. Parts and labors were also guaranteed up to 1 year. "Person scheduled to come did not and replacement person found new repairs to be done. I had to haggle on the price since it went up drastically. When he left after repairing the contactor and capacitor and "cleaning" the unit (running a hose over the coils), AC unit froze over and damaged the furnace. Now we have to replace the whole system when the furnace was in good shape."

"By the time the service rep was contacted and he called us, we had purchased the part and repaired the air conditioner unit ourselves. We had hire the service company to do a complete service on the unit on June 23,2022. I would recommend Freedom Heating and Air to anyone needing service. They were very professional and did a thorough job. They explained what they were doing from beginning to end. We were shown pictures of before and after as they did the work. We will use them again if it becomes necessary."

"This was not the job I expected. It initially took more than 50 calls to get the company to fix an appointment, and then it was only when I had complained by email that I got a response. The guy arrived earlier than scheduled and complained about having to work in attics on a hot day. As we already had a ceiling fan which had stopped working it should have been a simple task to replace it. That part was fine but the replacement is a flimsy article which is not powerful at all and is not doing the job intended. This was an expensive mistake. A request to the company for comment has brought nil response. Not recommended as this was an expensive mistake.
