"Carini installed my mini splits a few years ago and promised me the world with their warranties. Well, turns out they botched something during the install and all of the refrigerant leaked out. They want $2,200 to refill and re-pressurize the line. Since they cross-threaded the screw that led to the leak during installation, this should be covered under the "Lifetime Craftsmanship" guarantee. Instead, they're trying to charging me a full day of labor to fix their mistake. Support on this issue has been dismal. It's been 16 days since they first diagnosed the problem and I still don't have a timeline for when this will get fixed. I chose Carini because of their warranties and their service record, but its all smoke and mirrors. You've been warned."

Other plumbing issues were found, and while they offered to fix them all, didn't pressure me to get them done; just alerted me to them and advised I get them fixed when I'm ready. When, after they left, I discovered another problem that was marginally related, I called them and Stan came back the next morning and fixed it -- at no charge. While I was so worry, the technician offered to file a city report for me and they did all the follow up. (I didn't know the city would get involved).
