"Overhead Door sent out a representative within 2-3 days of contacting them for an estimate. The representative was knowledgeable, very friendly and also saved us money by suggesting that we keep our existing garage door hardware, track and remote, as they were still in good working condition. I went to the Overhead Door facility on Riverside St./Portland to see the doors available in their showroom. They required a deposit to order the doors. Approximately 6 weeks later, the installation took place. They removed the 2 doors, repaired the existing tracks (now the tracks work better and look much sleeker) installed the new doors, re-programmed our existing car remotes, and walked us through the work that he had completed. I strongly recommend this company.

"Bought the $89 deal to tune up garage door because it was sticking.  Repairman came and started work.  Came in and showed me that a cable had snapped while he was trying to replace the rollers and it needed replacement.  He claimed the door was inferior and ought to be replaced.  I had him come back and replace the door.  The door would not close all the way - it would get stuck and start opening up again.  After troubleshooting it myself I found that a metal handle was crossing the safety beam and making the door believe there was an obstruction.  I removed the handle and that problem went away.  However, a few months later my opener stopped functioning.  After reading some of the other reviews, I am suspicious that the door was hung improperly which caused the motor to burn out.

We were asked for more payment as there were additional "issues" with the installation. We had another garage program ongoing at the time of delivery (we waited 4mo plus for installation after being told it would be 6-8 weeks), and were not able to accommodate the installation of the openers we had ordered. The provider asked for full payment with multiple promises of return, but never did after 6 months. We have a series of unreturned phone calls and communications.
