"We had a leak in our 12 year old water heater so had Your Home Services come out to take a look. It was leaking all over the place so they advised we replace with a new unit. Everything went smooth, great service all around and a pretty quick install. It happened on New Year's Eve so we had to wait until after the holiday, but that's totally understandable. All around happy with the work and will use them again for future plumbing (and A/C) needs."

"We had the water main break on our 63 year old home. Opted to have the whole house repiped. Holland came out and repiped the house in a day. They had a whole crew who finished the job in a quick, professional, transparent, and courteous manner. They even had a member of the team repair any dry wall that needed to be cut to reroute the pipes. They also repotted our plants that needed to be relocated for the repipe. I will definitely be using them again and will recommend to my friends and family."

"I had two other companies come out to try to fix our fireplace and they couldn't figure it out. Jack came out from Largo Piping and Gas and saw and fixed the problem right away. They were quick to return my call and punctual for the appointment.

"Judy Sarsten, the Ten Plus Services office manager, was very responsive, pleasant and professional.  The crew assigned to the job, Paul and Dexter, arrived at the time promised.  They showed me the corrosion problem (structural rupture) that precluded fixing the old unit.  When I inquired about replacement options, Paul provided well-reasoned advice about the heat pump and gas-fired alternatives.  I decided a gas-fired pool heater would be best.  Paul said the office would send me a proposal.
Judy sent a detailed estimate the next business day, including the Angie's List discount and offering to waive the service call fee for the first visit.  The $2500 price seemed fair; it was less expensive than the old unit (purchased by a previous homeowner).  I accepted their proposal on the condition that the work would be accomplished within nine days.  Ten Plus Service made this happen.  Paul and Dexter did an excellent job installing the new unit and the new gas line needed to supply it.  They were pleasant to work with and readily answered my questions regarding various aspects of the installation.  They showed me how to operate it and how its use can be coordinated with my solar panels.  They hauled away the old unit and all trash.
Employing Ten Plus Service was a pleasure from start to finish.  The heater is working very well, as evidenced by a 5 degree Fahrenheit water temperature increase over two hours, even with the outside air temperature below 60.  I am very satisfied and will gladly hire them again.

"I had turned the water off behind the toilet to stop the leak so the plumber really did not get a chance to see for sure where it was so he found a small leak in the overflow for the tub and thought that was my problem. I turned the water back on to the toilet and there is moisture again today he will return this afternoon. I think they seem reasonable very easy to work with and overall a very good company. They also accepted a coupon I had printed off for another company and I really appreciated that, I will use them again. In the future I should not turn the water off so they can see how much and where the water is coming from, but being an upstairs apt I am really careful about water leaks, I do not want to flood my neighbors."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Bradley, FL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
