"Alan explained everything thoroughly including all my options if I I had further problems. He also gave me good advice on taking care of my pipes. He came out immediately and fixed a problem my old plumber refused to call me back on. I am very pleased."

"They do the checks for free. Mostly safety checks. Making sure there's no leaks anywhere. They do really well. They are punctual and show up on time. If they say they will be there at a certain time, they are there."

"Mike and his crew were wonderful. Very down to earth and honest, and that is what I respect most. He spent a lot of time going over the protect with me, giving me his undivided attention and explaining everything to go woman who has no knowledge of tis area. I respect him so much for this, and not treating me like I was just someone who didn't understand and he didn't care. Mike cares about the job, AND the customer. Everyone who helped him was so polite, very personable and just great guys to be around. I'm also going to have him do another project by him-- replacing old pipe with PEX."

"I have a warranty with American Home Shield so CKC was assigned when I had an issue. As is the case with 50% of my claims with AHS the problem wasn't covered. However Chris & Brendon were able to advise me on my options and quickly installed a replacement expansion tank at a reasonable price. I understand that it is situational but my experience did not reflect the more negative reviews on this site"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Breinigsville, PA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
