"????? Absolutely Unreliable and Dishonest ? Avoid at All Costs The Barefoot Builder (Abraham and Kenneth) are the most unprofessional and unreliable contractors I?ve ever dealt with. Angi recommended them on Sept 30. After multiple delays ? photos requested on Oct 3, job surveyed Oct 4, estimate received Oct 7, and price agreed ($100 per window frame) ? they finally scheduled work for Oct 17 at 9 a.m. By then, the project was already a week behind, but I agreed to wait. On Oct 17, I checked in at 9:14 a.m. and was told, ?Absolutely, I?ll be there before noon.? Then came excuse after excuse: a ?family emergency,? ?Kenneth is on the way,? ?45 minutes out.? They never showed up. At 5:30 p.m., I told them not to come since I had already done half the work myself. Zero integrity, zero respect for people?s time, and no work ethic whatsoever. A complete joke of a business ? stay far away."

My husband contacted them to come back to correct that problem. But, they never returned his call or came back out. Otherwise, than that we are very pleased with the new deck and it was completed on time. I am rating a "B" due to the short boards. If boards get fixed, I'll move grade to "A"."
