Unlike other businesses with an answering service, Gary communicated directly with me through texts, including requesting pictures, to understand the issue beforehand. He spent a good deal of time working on a part that was stuck. When it wouldn't budge, he explained what would be needed to fix it and did not charge me for the visit. I would definitely use their services again."

"I pulled up Angie's List and selected CSR (Complete Service Restoration). Within 30 minutes after contacting CSR, Ron Minando was at our door. Within another 45 minutes Ron's crew arrived. As Julius Caesar said upon landing in Britain, They came, They saw. They conquered. With CSR, They came. They saw. They conquered a smelly, moldy, and disgustingly wet basement. To ensure that water, dirt, and contaminants, were not tracked into our house, they put down a waterproof cloth matting on the main floor, the laundry room and the garage. Working in a quiet professional manner, the crew drained the basement, extracted water from the carpeting and padding, zipped it into watertight plastic bags and disposed of it in a dumpster. They did the same with the wet drywall and some water damaged contents. They moved so quietly and quickly that my wife and I were unaware they brought in very large air scrubbers and dehumidifiers. After removing all the contaminated debris, they sprayed the floor and walls with a plant-based (no toxic chemicals) anti-bacterial agent. By acting quickly, CSR was able to save my wife's hat room and its 300 plus hats Hooray! It took several days to remove mold and dry the basement, but when they finished we had a clean odor-free basement. The men were prompt, very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the dangers of a water/mold damaged basement. If needed, I would definitely hire CSR again."

"I'm very happy with the service I received from Edge Plumbing. I had an emergency with my plumbing and needed my drain cleaned out the night before a holiday. Travis responded almost immediately upon choosing him as one of the plumbing services near me. He came over that night, and then returned the next morning at 8 AM. Very prompt and communication was constant. He got my drains all cleaned out, but found a break in my line which needed to be repaired. He identified where the exact location of the break and was very helpful working with the excavator to get my line repaired. I'm very pleased with his service, communication, timeliness, and very fair cost. I would definitely use Edge Plumbing again."

"I'm not sure this is the correct place for this review - we did use Benjamin Franklin plumbing, but it was their Howell, MI location. We had an issue with our sump pump and it was right before the major rain/ice storm (of course, Murphy's Law). Benjamin Franklin sent out a plumber the next day, and we were very thankful for this. The plumber that assessed our sump pump issue, Kevin, was very professional and very competent. The only thing is, Benjamin Franklin's pricing is indeed high. With this said, we'll definitely be calling and requesting Kevin for future plumbing issues."

"The drain in my basement overflowed for the second time in a couple weeks on a Friday afternoon. The person who had worked on it before had already come twice in two days because the first time he couldn't find a drain pipe that would make it easier to get the snake down. He suggested we might want to tear up the carpet in our family room to find it (like that was going to happen). He came back the second day and snaked through the drain in the laundry room. He did get through the blockage but must have only made a small hole through it because the water was backed up again in less than a week. Again, water and gunk are all over my laundry room. My emergency call was met with a promise that he would get to me sometime on Monday. Monday! Seriously, I couldn't wait three days without water, and I certainly couldn't let the gunk continue to cover my laundry room for the weekend. So, I called around to get someone who was available Friday afternoon. I called another local company, but they weren't able to come out and directed me to Associated Plumbing who had someone at my house within a couple hours. The man inspected the crawlspace that had been flooded during the previous week's catastrophe, and in just a couple minutes, he was able to find the elusive pipe and got down to work. After a few wacks, he decided the pipe was too old and he didn't want to put too much pressure on it and break the pipe, so through the drain he went. The guy was at my house for a good hour or so. He pulled out some gunk and a few roots, and I was back in business. The price was lower than the other guy, and the service and work were far superior. He even gave me a couple suggestions about the pipe and told me to call back if there was a problem. All in all, I am very satisfied and will call Associated Plumbing the next time I am in need of a plumber."

"Bob Gray and his team at 4-Ever Water-Tite did amazing work on our basement. I fully recommend this company without hesitation for any basement waterproofing, plumbing, or foundation work. The team was extremely knowledgeable and skilled, professional, courteous, and just good people all around. Bob was able to schedule our project in quickly and it was completed within three days. The work that was completed was exceptional, as well as the clean-up. The price was also very reasonable and the work has a lifetime transferable warranty."

"They are always a pleasure to deal with. Deck was old and falling apart. They replaced all the framework and installed new decking that withstands MI weather. Old porch was ceramic and cracking. "Jeff Michrina is the owner of JAM Home Services, managing via subcontracting work in paint, flooring, carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms according to his business card. He was prompt in responding to my request for an in-house assessment and quote. He arrived at his appointed time, was friendly, patient and offered an easily understood explanation of his work background & ethic. As we made a walk-through of the house, Jeff made notes and suggested wall repair specifics, scuff sanding of wooden bannisters, color options and best paint for the job (Sherman-Williams super paint). He explained that the paint job would be done by a 3-4 man crew with one person serving as lead. Unlike other company owners, Jeff did not use a computer. His quote was hand-written. Be prepared to wait more than a day or two to obtain a written quote. An additional 4% surcharge is added for credit card only payments as well, according to the written material. On the appointed day, four crew members arrived a bit early, and seemed to huddle before knocking on the front door. It was pretty clear that all four had bonded over the course of working together. We then met Fred (lead) who did the ceiling work, caulking and repairs; Will whose precision in cutting closely around light fixtures and edging was highly valued; David who concentrated on the doors, and wood working; and Matt who was new so painted the garage and basement drywall. When one completed his job, he went on to help another. Each member of the crew was polite, kind and seemed to enjoy working in the group. They worked tirelessly, taking only a 30 minute afternoon lunch. All heavy furniture was moved by them and then replaced. At the end of each day, surfaces were wiped down, floors swept and the areas were cleaned up. Used materials where either returned to the work truck, or bagged and placed neatly in an area for trash pick up. At the end of each day, the lead Fred and I did a walk through inspection of the day's work. Jeff also stopped by each day to talk to the lead, the crew and inspect the job. The entire job was completed in less than half the time that was originally estimated!"
