"The men at Crooked Oak were fantastic in every way. Not only were they completely professional, punctual, responsive, etc., but they were very smart and creative with ideas in a way that we had not experienced with any other company from whom we had requested estimates. For our loft, which had slanted roofing, they were the only company that could give us what we wanted in the way of a closet. I believe the reason for this is simply that they do truly custom work. The other companies that we spoke to must work within a particular scale, and so they are somewhat limited in what they can offer you. Crooked Oak came up with a brilliant proposal that utilized our space most efficiently and gave us more options and they did it for a very reasonable price - in some cases much less than their competition. Additionally, once work began, I decided on a change in plan with part of the closet and they were very accommodating and were able to work it in for me. On top of all of this, I was ill with a fever of 101 the first day of installation. Since my husband was out of town, I kept my 2 year old home from school fearing that I wasn't in any shape to drive. I also have a 4 month old at home, so keeping my 2 year old out of trouble during the installation was a bit of a challenge. Not only were the men patient with my little one, they were even sweet to her. One of the men let her put in some shelf pins and they let her hang out with them for a while during the work. I know this must have been a little annoying, but they were great. There was one unexpected snag during the installation which caused a delay in finishing the project, but they handled it within a couple of business days and to our satisfaction. I was extremely pleased with the end results. We love the work that they did."

"Brought in two large seat cushions from microfiber couch that was only 4 years old. They no longer offered any support and we, as well as our guests, had trouble getting off the couch. Took the cushions to Chair People and assessed the problem (stuffed with feathers) and offered a solution (foam). "I had 4 professionals come to quote our project ( 3 from Angie's List) all were impressive.... but the first meeting with Dilyan I knew he would be a a great pro to work with and I was right! The first meeting and all the way through he was engaging, collaborative, creative, professional and thorough. I met Dilyan and his partner/ wife Lucy at their location where Dilyan does his masterful woodwork.... also met Lucy at a stone suppliers to research options.... Lucy was always available to provide supply sources but they were also happy to work with my choices and supply sources. The pros that came to do electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting were all very professional, neat, respectful of time etc. They sealed off our master bedroom with a zipper door way to keep dust at bay. The project went over the estimated completion date but we were so thrilled with the work and happy with the experience it was inconsequential. Dilyan crafted me a custom double sink vanity with 9 drawers in bamboo.... it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The doors and drawers and closing mechanism are high quality. We could not be happier with the experience or the end result. The project changed our life! We went from one pedestal sink, no drawers, a huge unused jacuzzi and tumbled marble floor and shower to a herringbone marble floor, glass shower , soaking tub I use at least weekly, and our marriage enhancing double sink with lots of drawers!!! I highly recommend this wonderful company and great people!!!"
