"Everything was excellent. The team identified the hole in our pool liner. On the day of replacing the liner, identified a potentially severe issue with the structure of the pool. Provided a recommendation for a replacement pool. Proceeded to remove the old pool and excavate the land in preparation for construction of the new pool. "I contacted Backyard Ponds on a Tuesday using the website and called on Wednesday. On Friday, they called to say that they had a crew working in the area that had available time if I would like them to clean the ponds. We discussed price-costs are determined by the number of hours the crew is on-site. Rates are $260 for first hour and $160 for each additional hour. As the ponds had not been cleaned since I purchased the home five years ago and they were dirty even then, I decided to agree to the cleaning.
Crew arrived on time and worked industriously. They pumped water out of the ponds, preserved the fish and frogs in a large bucket, clean the sides and bottoms, restored water from using tab water with an additive that reduced the effect of chemicals in the water, and return the fish to the cleaned ponds. I asked the crew to eliminate about one third of the naturalized lilies in one pond.  The other pond had large stones on the bottom that held lots of dirt.  The crew did a good job of getting the dirt out, leaving the stones looking clean and the water clear.
While the costs were a little high, the crew keep accurate account of the work time, even being conservative on their estimate. I though I would pay for three hours, but was charged for two and three fourths.
The ponds are beautiful and I feel the money well spent.
