"I never take the time to share my experience with contractors, but Rainbow of North Brooklyn responded to my Insurance company to clean up and mitigate the damage cause by a Broken pipe inside my basement ceiling. They professionally removed all the stuff which was stored in the basement and cleanup all the water which came down. After, I immediately hired them for reconstruction of the ceiling and walls. I am telling you that they did such a great job. You would not know that there was reconstruction done. The workers where professionals, respectful, and if I had any questions, they would take time to answer my question. They removed all the garbage and left the floors clean!!! "I had a poor experience. I hired this company to do a mold assessment in my apartment. I dealt with the owner. First, he requested cash or check payment only. He made an appointment and did not show up or contact me. I had to call him. In one of the rooms, the pipes above and whatever else the cause of the leak was, had been leaking repeatedly for 40 years, and the plaster constantly replaced. I was worried about mold ABOVE the ceiling on the beams and studs and not just the visible mold on the ceiling plaster and I worried it could be black mold. He did not seem to listen to what I told him and he did not use a water meter to check for saturation or a borescope or any other tools except taking a surface sample and air sample (the borescope and water meter I did not know about until after I had paid him for this inadequate job). He did not mention anything I said in the report. He was also rude and unkind and never provided me with a receipt."
