"I urgently needed my water softener replaced. He came the same day, made an adjustment to the tank so that the overflow faced the drain and stopped spilling brine onto the water heater. Then he returned the next day and replaced the water softener for a very reasonable price. Kurt responded quickly to texts and my needs."

"I had Kegonsa plumb a 1/2 bathroom a couple of months ago and they were fantastic. However, I wanted to leave another glowing review. I contacted Lucas on very short notice for a quote surrounding a home inspection - he came out after an hour and got the written quote back to me overnight. I would consider this above and beyond and would recommend working with them to anyone!"

"We noticed water pooling on top of our wood flooring.  We had just recently started using the hose bib this spring so we knew that had to be the issue - cracked pipe due to the cold cold winter we just had. Called up Cooper Plumbing late Friday morning to come check it out and hopefully fix that same day.  Brandon was able to get someone out to our house that afternoon!  Jake was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue, no problem.  Will definitely use them in the furture. <br />"

"I've used the Electrician Inc for multiple projects over the past five years (some, but not all, I've review here on AL) and they have been exceptional in each case. For the latest project I had them rewire the electric for our bathroom remodel (adding or changing outlets, switches and lighting, hooking up the vent). Bo (who I've worked with many times before) and Brian did the work. We have an older house (ca. 1950) and I was prepared for the job to be time-consuming and costly. However, Bo expertly assessed the situation and explained how they could tie into the existing wiring (rather than pulling everything and running new wire all the across the house to the breaker) while keeping everything up to code. A less scrupulous company might have a recommended a more costly (and unnecessary) option. The job was completed in less than a day and way under what I budgeted for. I can't recommend these guys highly enough."

"I've had a lot of issues with my HVAC unit in my new house.  I've had a couple different contractors our at different time (mainly whoever I could get out first).  D&J came out today because they were contracted by a contractor I was using to do drywall and other repairs.  Jesse was very polite and diagnosed the issue within a few minutes.  He was very helpful and got everything back to working quickly.  Plus he didn't make me feel like an idiot (the issue was really something I should have caught).  I will definitely use them again--hard to find trustworthy folks nowadays. <br />"

"I was referred to 4 lakes by roto rooter when they determined that the blockage in my basement pipe could not be cleared. It turned out that I needed about 10 feet of pipe replaced and diverted, all underground, due to circumstances that existed before I purchased the house. 4 lakes was courteous, quick, did a great job, worked with my insurer regarding billing, and was very reasonably priced for all the work that was done. I would highly recommend them and will use them again. <br />"

"I had replace the usual items for a leaking exterior faucet but it still continued to leak. After some research I learned that it would need replacement which was more than I could deal with. Access to the faucet was thru an interior finished wall. <br /> The work was done in a very professional manner--neat, clean, timely. <br /> Good job. <br />"

"I called Josh for a estimate. He showed up the same day and gave me a quote for the work I needed done. he scheduled me for the next morning. He showed up on time and within three hours he removed all the old plumbing and had all the new pex installed. along with cleaning up and making sure I was familiar with all the new hardware that was installed. I was so pleased with his work, I called him two weeks later to install a water softener. As before he showed up the same day and scheduled me for the next morning. I was just as pleased with that install and will defiantly be calling Madison plumbing for a and quot; on demandand quot; water heater I want to have installed in the near future. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Brooklyn, WI

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
