"The project went very well.  There was a hitch at the beginning because the salesman had misinformed us about disconnecting our electrical service, but the delay was minor.  The work was done well, the crew did an excellent job and gave us a tutorial about the generator as they worked.  They explained what they were doing as they went along, They cleaned up after themselves, and took all of their trash with them when they left.  We have a standby generator that starts up once a week and runs for about 15 minutes without disconnecting our electric service.  When we have lost power, it starts immediately and we have full power again in 20 seconds or less.  When power is restored, the generator shuts down automatically and seamlessly switches us from generator to the power lines.  The generator gives us peace of mind.  I am very happy with the service and support we have received from Wooldridge and recommend them.

"It all ended well - AHS decided to replace the furnace (19 years old) instead of the pricey part. It was a long process, though, during the hottest part of the summer. Communication between AHS and the vendor was not good. The vendor and I were both calling daily for status, having to wait on hold for 20-40 minutes before getting a person. However, the people we spoke to at AHS were very friendly and helpful. Call backs were non-existent, though, which would have been more of an issue if results were not seen. I am just grateful the 3 weeks without the furnace was during the uncomfortable summer as opposed to the bitter cold winter. Bottom line is - it got done, but it was long and drawn out. At this point we've gotten more out of the program than we put in, but I am thinking the inconvenience isn't worth the difference. The cost of service below is only for the service call - our annual AHS is about $1800."
