My two neighbors were getting their driveways paved by Lambert paving and one of the owners knocked on our door seeing we have a gravel driveway(which I hated) and asked if we would like to get ours paved as well. I did want to it paved but wasn't budgeting for that this year with other projects we were doing. He walked the driveway with me and explained what he would do which is exactly to the T what I had envisioned for the driveway. He quoted a great price and I couldn't resist. "I cannot possible say enough good things about Ed, Chris, and their team.  I dread dealing with contractors, we have probably held off on getting this work done for a while because I can't the thought of dealing with them!  I spoke to 3 other contractors for this job and it was evident Ed was the only one who truly cared.  He was not the cheapest, but was worth every penny.
Ed has restored my faith in his profession.  He was courteous from the first contact. He arrived promptly to measure for the estimate.  He was open to whatever we wanted and provided additional wonderful ideas to build upon our vision.  Ed provided the 3 quotes for different options soon after his initial visit.
Once we chose our plan, he went above and beyond to help us pick the right materials for the job.  Both him and Chris drove all around NJ looking for the perfect cultured stone for our steps to match with the pavers we had chosen.  It was evident they truly cared about creating a perfect job for us.  Communication was constant throughout the entire process, and my calls were answered immediately every time.
 
They went above and beyond, even caring for issues I hadn't thought of originally, including making sure our drain was re-routed properly, and electrical wiring for our outside light was set correctly.
The entire work crew was highly professional and courteous. They even made my 3 year old smile every day. I will definitely be using them in the future and highly recommend their work to anyone.

"Scheduling was a little challenging, as is the case with all Angie's deals, but not a big problem.
Vendor responded quickly to messages.
They came and had a pretty good quality brown mulch. Was better than I expected, actually. They were very helpful and really wet above and beyond - doing some minor weeding and prepping of the beds as well as spreading them. They were very careful with the existing plants and everything was very clean.
In the past, we would have folks come in and just toss everything fast then leave. Not the case here. Emerald really did a good job.

"Chris and his crew were excellent. The extent of Chris' knowledge was quite impressive. He made me feel like I was finally in good hands by showing and thoroughly discussing everything he found. During his inspection he checked every possible issue that could be causing the problems. He explained the repair processes necessary and showed me as he was doing them. They were courteous and cleaned up, leaving my property cleaner than when they arrived. They were very polite and more than willing to do whatever was necessary to help me complete the project as I wanted. "Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done.
