"A+ to Team Russell. WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Our basement was a large, empty and mostly non-functional space. No storage, no nuthin’. We drew up a wish list which ultimately became a detailed plan with two rooms, a full bathroom, an egress window, new stairs and electrical box, and storage that included many shelves and doors. Other contractors might run screaming from customers like us, but these people—these talented, highly-skilled, hard-working people said, “Okay!” Over the years really good men and women have help repaire and maintain our homes. No one provided the level of service that Russell Renovations provided. We were immediately impressed with Tim Russell’s responsiveness. His communication was great. He was fair in his estimate and realistic in his scheduling. When work began on our project, he and his son showed up when they said they would show up. They worked long hours and honored their commitment to getting this job done on time and within budget. The quality of their workmanship was excellent. They also happen to be delightful, exceptionally considerate human beings. In addition, the other trades they brought in were very good. "Originally, I was already decided on employing another company and called D Allen and sons to get another quote. Martin arrived and explained different options for my roofing job. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. His explanations and attention to detail exceeded those of the other contractors I had spoken with. I'm old school (much to my wife's admonisment) and after deciding to have D Allen install my metal roof I felt comfortable enough that I could have simply done it with a handshake with Martin or the owner Dennis. During installation Wayland and his crew had to battle excessive heat and rain. They were hard working, courteous, friendly and did quality work. What a wonderful crew! Their attention to detail was evident in their workmanship. They take pride in their work and did a great job. My metal roof looks fantastic. I'm very satisified with the completed project. I highly recommend this company. I plan on putting a metal roof on my garage in a year ot two and plan on having D Allen complete the job. They supply quality work at an affordable price."

"We needed a new 12 x 16 shed. We shopped on internet for local shed builders and found Wood Tex to be the most cheapest for their quality. We went to their open house. We selected colors, style, and selected options we wanted to add to our shed. It takes a long time for them to make the shed (approximately 2 months). They built and delivered it for free because we live within 100 miles from their company. Although, we were a little disappointed to find minor sloppy paint and smoke stain on the shed. Contacted them and they told me the smoke stain is washable with soap and water. They send in pints of paint for us to paint over the minor sloppy mistakes they made. Overall, we are satisfied with it for a great price. If people are thinking of getting a shed from Wood-Tex, they need to be sure that they are able to deliver it freely on their property without any barriers. <br />"

"Sales person was very knowledgeable, flexible, and responsive in comparing and selecting from the options and alternatives. We ended up selecting premium series R16 insulated doors with double-pane glass windows manufactured by Richards-Wilcox in Canada. We were told they would take about two weeks to get and sure enough our phone rang in two weeks to schedule installation. Two technicians arrived right at the scheduled time and were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was 5 degrees F with wind and snow, but installers Chuck and Mike had smiles on their faces and told me this was their favorite weather to work in. It was evident they enjoy what they do, and I felt comfortable knowing that they were not likely to cut corners in order to get out of the cold more quickly. Multiple offers to come inside to warm up or grab a bite to eat or drink were respectfully declined, and I never saw them take a break that would distract them from their work. I have to say these doors are the most robust doors that I have ever seen and the quality of both the doors and the installation looks outstanding. Upon completing the job and programming 4 transmitters they removed all the old materials and new packaging and swept out my garage leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. National Overhead Door in Orchard Park, NY gave me a great product with great service. I would highly recommend them for both new and repair work involving garage doors and openers."

"Joe O. from Allstate along with Karen L. from GAF Energy did a thorough evaluation of our old roof and clearly explained the new roofing and solar options - they took the time to answer our questions and made sure we understood what would be involved, how much it would cost, and which rebates and tax credits we qualified for. Allstate arranged for all the permits and inspections required for the project, so everything was ready when the work began, and all the appropriate inspections were performed as needed. The project took just over 1.5 days to complete. The roofing crew was very careful to do a good job - they were very hard-working, and made sure to thoroughly clean up the site when they were finished. GAF sent experts to train the crew in working to integrate the solar panels into the roof, since this is something relatively new here. We were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved in the project, and the care taken to giving us the best possible result (they even made sure we arranged to have our LeafFilter system removed before they came so it wouldn't be damaged by the roof tear-off). Joe O. from Allstate has followed up with us several times since the project was completed to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and to answer any questions we might have. We are very pleased with the end result of this project. The roof looks great, and it's very nice to not have water dripping into our bedroom when it rains! We are looking forward to seeing how much our electric bill is reduced by using the solar panels. The panels are part of the roof, so they aren't raised above the roof - they look great and fit in well with the roof! Although the project cost was higher than just adding another layer of shingles over the old roof, we believe the value received was well worth the amount we spent. We highly recommend Allstate Roofing to anyone who wants a high quality roof on their home - with the 50 year GAF Golden Pledge warranty, 25 year workmanship warranty, and 25 year warranty on the solar panels, we can enjoy our retirement in this home knowing we will never have to pay for another roof in our lifetime!"

"Overall, a nice garage at a good price. Sub-contractors (electrical and concrete) were on the expensive side whose work was ok, but not great. Construction is built to code. The owner is on the job and is also the person who writes up the contract. Contract details are loose at best, however, the owner is open to you clarifying details in writing. Communication is adequate. When you get to speak to the owner, he is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, but very busy. Framing quality is good. They will use off color and/or split lumber. (Other more expensive contractors will pick through to use the best pieces, but you pay for it). If you are patient, not picky, don't want to pay for a contractor's overhead and looking for a good value, KCM is worth considering,"
