"Going to take two visits, but that is because they wanted to see if when the unit thawed the fan was still working and save me over $1000. Turns out the fan is shot. So, calling them back, but I know they will be able to fix it. They have done work for me on this unit before. They cannot service all units, as I have a business and they weren't able to fix that one. But, they said that when they got there and looked at it before they spent a lot of time or money on parts, so at least they are honest."

"Very satisfied with responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism! Danny was able to squeeze us into Blue Star's full schedule at a time that worked for us and called before the visit for clarification about the problem, and after the visit about how things went. John called before arrival to let us know about exact timing, and was very thorough in investigating the problem and then explaining the situation. After consultation, he was able to repair our system. John also discussed what to look out for in case there are problems in the future. We have had our AC unit serviced regularly by other companies, but we will never use those other companies again. Blue Star is superior in every way! Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you, Danny and John!!"

"They were really good. They trustworthy, dependable provides excellent service, punctual, on time and considerate. I recommend them highly. Their prices were fair and they were quick."

"Nelson Reyes performed service promptly, completely, and at reasonable cost."

"We are very happy with HVAC service. Compare to other companies they are much cheaper then others and provided quality work/services."

"Just really good service. Would highly recommend this company."

"We have been long time customers of Briggs. Scheduled maintenance and filter replacement goes smoothly and efficiently. They call and schedule a day and time, always show up in the window or call if there is a change. This last time they had the wrong filter with them, they offered to come back in 2/3 days or to have it shipped directly to us so we could replace. It went smoothly and all was taken care of! Would highly recommend!"

"After a friend recommended Neighborhood Specialists (NS) to me for a hot water heater and HVAC replacement , I read the reviews. What stunned me was the company only had 5 Star reviews!! Could they really be that good? I was skeptical. But after meeting Stelios and working with him, I can honestly say I am convinced. They earn every one of those 5 stars they get! For more years than I care to admit, I have been using another local HVAC company and NS far outshines them. Stelios is responsive, honest, fair, forthcoming, diligent, hard-working and you can trust what he says. Each appointment I made with NS, Stelios was there early, twice waiting for me to arrive. He respected my time was valuable. I had never experienced that with my other service provider. In fact, whenever they gave me a window of time for their arrival, they NEVER came in that window. Stelios made preparation for every contingency. On installation day, he brought a tent to cover the outside AC unit as there was rain in the forecast, which never materialized. My other company always canceled appointments if there was even a slight chance of rain. As a result, NS will be my new HVAC/hot water heater service provider going forward. I am saying GOODBYE to substandard service, unfulfilled promises of service, and the constant waiting games!"

"Service technician Joseph Sellers answered our call for air conditioning unit inspection and service. Excellent. He was personable, professional, and very knowledgable. He explained everything in detail and took care of our problem on the spot in a couple of hours."

"Our 2.5 ton upstairs A/C was leaking coolant, so we opted to replace it. Since downstairs unit is a Carrier, we picked Pope's to bid for the job, as they were listed by Carrier, had good marks on Angie's list, and were locally owned. Pope's Air responded the same day we called, and Tim Stewart came in the afternoon, and spent over an hour describing our options and costs. We received a competitive bid, and selected Pope's Air for the work. Our previous supplier had replaced our downstairs unit a couple of years back, and had put in a unit which stressed our ductwork, causing a whistle when loaded. Pope's Air volunteered to have a look at that problem, too, included at no charge. Pope's Air scheduled and came on time the following week. It took a day to do the work, and the installers were clean and professional. They came up with an inexpensive fix in the cold air return ducting, and implemented it. No more whistle. In the upstairs unit, they discovered some crushed ductwork which our previous supplier had ignored and replaced about 20' of ducts, all for a very reasonable upcharge. The A/C works fine, w/ a better airflow, and they will return for an inspection once the weather warms enough to exercise the unit. We plan to use Pope's Air for all of our Heating and A/C needs in the future. Highly recommended."
