"Fantastic. My contact with United Freight was Guy and he was excellent to work with. The day my car was supposed to be picked up in Albuquerque, New Mexico Guy called and the truck had had mechanical issues in Las Vegas, NV and couldn't get to me. But he had already looked for and got a alternate transport to get to my house within a couple of hours and take the car. The car actually got to my daughter in Ithaca, NY earlier than planned. Everything was done very professionally and this is probably why United Freight is highly rated. "Overall we had a great experience dealing with Exterior. This was the second project we hired them on, so we were familiar with working with them. We were quite particular in whom we selected to take on our project given the unique nature of our home and the ultimate look we wanted to accomplish. From the beginning, Ben did a thorough job of explaining all of the factors we needed to consider in selecting our new windows as well as talking through the steps needed to execute a proper installation. He took extra time to walk us through his quote and explain all of steps involved in the project. We had some custom features we wanted in the windows and on the install, and Exterior did a great job of making that happen. We want to give special kudos to Hillary, the installer/carpenter, for the near flawless job he did on the installation. His craftsmanship, attention to detail and professionalism is top notch. We wish we could find someone like him to do all of the projects at our home."

"we had asked that work not be done the week before our daughter's college graduation.  They called the weekend before and said a rooking crew was available and could do the work on Monday if we wanted to go ahead.  we said OK.  then it rained and they worked on Tuesday and then into Wednesday to finish.  the roofing crews did not always dump debris onto tarps, did not properly address an issue at the chimney leaving a gap above the facia (even though I had pointed out this condition during a walk thru for the bid), and, in my opinion, bent the gutters in two places.  When they fixed the roof at the chimney, they said they must have had some bad caulking because the first hot day after it ran down the side of the chimney in a black gooey mess.  They then had to come back again and clean the chimney and re-fix the problem. <br /> The guy installing the bathroom vent duct  through the attic installed the wye backwards. <br /> The siding crew replaced the moldy HardiPlank and trim.  They pointed out several other bad soffit locations that were not in the original scope and those were fixed by change order.  I had to have them come back and fix several sloppy joint locations, caulk places that had missed and fix other locations where the HardiPlank was installed against roofing but had not yet begun to deteriorate.  During the work on first return they tore a hole in the bedroom screen and we had to have them come back and take the screen off and have it replaced.  In general, their attention to detail and level of craftsmanship was not nearly as good as the work they had done in 2004.  They did eventually fix everything we asked for.  Next time I will look for someone better. <br />"

"All items accomplished per discussion with service writer. The items were in response to an energy audit performed by Northeastern REMC, a free service to their customers. It took the workers a bit longer to accomplish all the work, but they didn't shortcut anything. In fact, they found an area that wasn't discussed while foaming the common wall and took care of it as well, as it just made sense to include it. I tipped each of the installers for their extra help. <br /> I could easily tell the comfort difference in every area they'd hit, both during the winter and the subsequent summer. I just hired them to fix another problem with the fireplace area that's been difficult to diagnose and look forward to them resolving the problem. <br />"

"Rick has done a lot of work for us and for my mother in law. He is very reliable, creative and has reasonable prices. He has cut down large trees, installed safety bars in a bathroom and custom made a lift for the head of our bed. He is our "go to" handy man! <br />"

"The purchase of my new kitchen cabinets and counter tops went great, sales rep Greg was very attentive to all questions I had, made adjustments as needed, pricing was good, and they are made right on the premise, they came out to measure, delivery time was great, thought it would take maybe 4-6 weeks, we got in 2 weeks, delivery was on time promised, we did our own install. Counter tops were ordered and delivered 6 days later, installers were GREAT, Rodrigo and partner were on time promised, very professional, friendly, quick, cleaned up after, would not even know they were there, except for my new counter tops. Would definitely recommend Factory Plaza Per the picture the installers will do what is needed to get the job done 🙂"
