"Chris called right at the start of the service window (12pm) and let me know he'd be there in 10 minutes, which he was.  He was very courteous and professional.  I quickly explained the two requests and the concerns I had about the switch, and he went to work.  He tested the 3 way switch (which had been malfunctioning for me) and replaced it within roughly 10-15 minutes.  He removed our existing ceiling fan and installed the new one (which was essentially still new and in the box) over the next hour.  He offered to vacuum the carpet (which i declined, as my labor rate is cheaper :) and left a very clean work site.
Overall, he worked quickly, asked questions when there was a decision to be made, and was pleasant.  Great experience!

"I used earthworm to demolish and fill an inground pool. I looked at several companies to do the job and none were as affordable, or most importantly confident that they could complete the job as Earthworm. They not only completed the job in only a day they also demolished the pool correctly so I will not have any drainage iusses in the future. I would highly reccomend Earthwom for similar projects."

"Bob did a great job. Everything was nice and neat. Only small problem we had with him is the promise to be out to do the repair the following week, but heard nothing all week. We called him the following Monday and he explained that he had lost an employee and that he was very busy. Bob said he would be there on Friday in the afternoon. He did come late Friday afternoon and did the repair even continuing when it started raining. We are very pleased with Bob's Complete Construction."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Burnips, MI

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
