"The sales guy was very impressive. He explained everything about the process and did a detailed inspection of the areas to be worked on.
He was honest in saying that sometimes the concrete seams don't match up perfectly, but that the installers would use a grinder to feather out any spots where this would happen. I asked about cracking and he said that it rarely occurred.
The installer came on the appointed day and was still there when I returned from work. He had completed much of the job, but indicated that he had trouble with some of the equipment and that some of the poly-leveling material had sprayed around some of the work areas. He said he would come back and finish the next day (which was a Saturday).
He returned Saturday and finished. I inspected the work and was generally happy with the concrete leveling; my front step was now very close to it's original height and my patio was shedding water away from the house. But I did find a couple of things that distressed me and told the installer about them:
1. There were two very noticeable cracks and a third very thin one. Would he be filling these cracks to prevent future water damage?
2. There were many places in the driveway where the slabs were still uneven. Was he planning on grinding those down as promised?
After he left, I also noticed that the patching material used to fill the holes seemed to be chipping away already and in several holes, did not even come up to the level of the slab.
He later called back and said that he would come back and use a high quality sealer to fill the cracks. He didn't mention the uneven concrete.
I later was contacted by the office about payment. I explained that there were outstanding issues. I was assured that arrangement had been made to fix them.
Then I made the ultimate error: I paid them.
When the sales guy made a follow up call, I told him there were still outstanding issues, and that I had been promised that they would be addressed.
No cracks have been filled, the holes collect water every time it rains and I am mortified at the prospect of trying to clear snow from my uneven driveway this winter.
Could I have made more noise with them about this? Sure. Should I have to after making three people aware of the problems? Certainly not."

"The crew was absolutely amazing! Very impressed with how professional, polite, and personable they all were. The management and crews are top notch! Management answered all the questions I had, walked me through what steps they were going to take to get things done. Dustin was extremely thorough, knowledgable, and took time to explain the recommended systems. I will 100% be utilizing them in the future strictly based on the level of trust and quality he presented! His communication was fantastic, they always arrived on time. They were careful with the property, always cleaned up when they were done. I will absolutely hire them again to complete any future foundation/basement work and I will absolutely recommend this company without reservation or hesitation. They stand behind their work."

"I LOVE LOVE LOVE DDS Plumbing. I have hired them for service calls 4 times now. I had a high level of concern about both the cost and level of destruction needed to fix the leaking water pipe in the ceiling of my finished basement. Scott from DDS Plumbing was able to repair it by cutting only two small holes in the ceiling, through which he was able to find and fix the leaking pipe. He also went through a troubleshooting process with a shower faucet in a guest bathroom that was only producing scalding hot water in a way that minimized the cost and impact to me. I feel like another plumber would have jumped to a easier and more costly fix of replacing the entire faucet, but Scott took his time to diagnose an issue with the pressure balance in the cartridge, which resulting in a less expensive and impacting way to the fix the problem. I really appreciate the professionalism, quality of work, and fair cost of service that DDS Plumbing has. This is a company with a lot of integrity, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody needing plumbing services!"

"Earlier this year, a different contractor installed an egress window well and cover. I was very unhappy with the height of the well and finishing details on the cover. An unfinished board was screwed directly to the siding and the cover was mounted to the board. Original contractor was not really interested in making it right. The only way to make it right was a total re-do. Ivan with A&H Home Improvement looked at it and provided a very fair and reasonable estimate to correct the original installation. He was able to schedule this job within a few weeks. The job involved completely digging out the well, replacing one section of siding, mounting a pvc board to the foundation slightly above the well, and mounting the cover to the pvc board. I am 1,000% (yes really 1,000% not just 100%) satisfied with the end result. Ivan was able to use the same well and cover so the cost of this project was basically labor and a few components (pvc board, screws, bolts). The end result is EXACTLY how I imagined it should look. I am very pleased and would definitely call A&H Home Improvement again for home repairs or future projects."

"After two sewage backups in our basement within four months of each other (in a house less than 12 years old), we took our sewer service tech's advice and had the line excavated in the problem area indicated in the tech's video. Sure enough, there was an actual gap of 8-10 inches between our sewer line and the pipe leading to the main. Todd suspected that this actually occurred during construction of the house, and it just took this long for the problem to reveal itself. He, his brother Craig, and their assistant Kenny spent an entire day getting to and repairing this problem and then followed up on another suspected break, which they found farther up the line. They replaced that area of pipe also and then filled in the hole properly with rock (which was never done in the original construction) and dirt and poured concrete to replace the sidewalk and driveway sections that had been removed. Todd patiently answered my many questions and never was condescending, as some repairmen are with women. He was a stickler for detail, ensuring that the work at every stage of the repair was done meticulously and correctly. There were no surprises when the bill arrived, either, as it was exactly the amount quoted to me beforehand. I hope we never have a need for sewer excavation again, but if we do I will call Torgerson Excavating without hesitation. We cannot say enough good things about this company."
