"It was a little difficult to get the initial date going because they are in such high demand, but fortunately I got a quick schedule and they are very good. They are very professional and bring a crew for a thorough job even though our yard isn't that large. They provide a regular scheduled service that is very reliable, even bi-weekly. Their website does not have a working payment feature yet, but they will provide regular credit card payment acceptance, if you contact them by phone. *NOTE: If you are Asian and/or have an unusual herb or vegetable garden remember to mark off the area otherwise your produce will get a hair cut."

"Can not say enough good things about this company-  <br /> We needed two trees removed- they made arrangements for the removal and the tree removal went well- these were two very old mature trees over the house which is a painstaking process- and they did a very good job <br /> Patio work- everything was set to go- and they discovered a sill plate problem- <br /> could not start the job- and needed a new plan - with the sill plate below ground even if it was repaired -still need a new plan They were already going to rergrade the patio area- but with the unexpected sill plate issue- they had to delay their job and develop a plan to redirect water away from the sill plate once the repair was complete- and they did it <br /> Great to work with- they could have laid the patio and ignored the sill plate issue- not their job- but they did identify it and it cost them time- and money_ they had a crew at our house  to do the patio and had to call them off- until we could resolve the sill plate issue  <br /> Also did our Fall cleanup -did a great job <br /> Would highly recommend them  <br />"

"Tony and his crew did part of our driveway and a walkway 4 weeks ago. He and his team were professional, informative, punctual, and trustworthy. The job was reasonably priced and expertly done. Tony even called after the job was completed to follow-up and make sure that we were pleased with the work. The best experience we’ve had with a contractor to date! We highly recommend Bayshore Concrete and would not hesitate to hire them again for future concrete and masonry work!"

"WE RESPONDED TO A CARD THAT WAS LEFT ON OUR DOOR. WE HAVE ONLY USED THEM FOR ONE SEASON. THE LAWN SEEMED TO RESPOND, SO FAR. THEY EXPLAIN THEIR COURSE OF TREATMENT BEFORE APPLYING IT. WE ARE CURIOUS TO SEE THE LAWN NEXT YEAR."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Cape May, NJ

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
