It took awhile to get on their schedule, but it was worth the wait."

"We found this company to be extremely professional and the service was excellent.  Carl, had come out before the gas line was installed, with the coal basket, to let us see what it would  look like. He wanted to make sure the measurements were correct.  We love our new gas coal basket in our 1938 bungalow.  Carl had it hooked up in a very short time. We would recommend him highly. Karen, who runs the office, was also extremely professional, giving us advice on options, pricing and how best to approach an extremely narrow firebox. They worked to get us in before Thanksgiving. Carl also had quoted a much lower cost on some chimney repairs that need to be made in the spring. We had other estimates. We found him frank, easy to work with and will definitely use his services in the upkeep of our gas fireplace. The biggest cost was for the coal basket at about $1,000.00. Worked with me on how best to approach and replacement of certain pieces near my chimney that were rotting. I like the fact that the crew all work directly for Housetop instead of subcontractors. "We loved the folks at Carolina Exteriors Plus. Wesley, who came out to give us the quote, was very knowledgeable and gave advice i felt i could trust. He answered my questions and also told me when i didn't need to replace things. It took about two months from the quote agreement to when work actually began. The contract was very professional and everything was spelled out as to what was included. Carolina Exteriors handled everything as we have three distinct phases including window replacement, siding replacement and exterior painting. The workers were efficient and always cleaned up the site well at the end of each day. We are extremely happy with the new look and I highly recommend this company. "We've hired Precise Roofing for roof/skylight/gutter replacements. Their prices are competitive - we got other estimates from 3 other contractors. Roberto/his team were able to answer many questions including warranty, products, and other general house maintaining matters. Actual works were in 3 phases - roof/skylight replacements were done in 1 1/2 days. No issues there. Our installation was on Monday and all the materials were delivered to our house on Friday. Workers arrived on time and were professional. During roof replacement, they identified few damaged fascia boards, sub-fascia boards, and siding/corner board. So replacing those boards around our house (and sealed/painted) was the second phase. They were different crews (2 people, not the same one as the roof crews) and did fantastic job. This was done prior to new gutters. Lastly, gutter installation. Although the installation itself was uneventful, it took a few extra days to schedule. However, this involves Christmas and new year holidays. Completely understandable. Overall, it was a great experience to something I wasn't familiar. They made everything easy and manageable. I have already emailed Roberto if his company does other jobs around house. I will definitely hire them again."
