"The company was GREEN SCAPE LANDSCAPING, Jose was the owner and managed the job very well. I am very happy with him and his crew. His price was quite reasonable and I will use him again, as well as recommending him to my neighbors. Thanks! C. Walton"

"Phil Ohana of Blue Ribbon visited our home, measured the workspace and then presented us with numerous options. Phil provided us with some very creative ideas along with suggestions for material to help keep our patio cool during the summer months. Our choice was a three-pieced patterned Travertine stone with recessed surface lighting. The Blue Ribbon team are artisans, very skilled in all of their work. They arrived promptly each morning. They deconstructed the old patio quickly & efficiently; no mess. The surface was then prepared. The following day, the beautiful Travertine was meticulously arranged. The lighting, which mimics stone by day, but stunningly illuminates outdoor areas at night, was also installed. A final sealant was applied to the Travertine stone which gave it a beautiful wet look; absolute perfection!! We are so very pleased with the service we received. We absolutely appreciate Phil & his skillful team. We could not be happier. We will certainly be utilizing the talents of the Blue Ribbon specialist in the future."

"Robert and his crew installed an extended travertine patio, large artificial grass section, built in grill with side burners and fridge, and a firepit. The work was quality and so were the workers. Our job was quite large and complete in 1 1/2 weeks. We had a vague idea of what we wanted going in, and with Robert's input I feel like we made our outdoor living space exactly what we were looking for. I am hypercritical of service providers and I couldn't be more pleased. What a pleasure this experience has been."

"My driveway was over 25 yrs old and the asphalt was coming apart. Not only was it unsightly but dirt was regularly tracked into the house. There was also an issue of drainage after rains which often backed up on my carport and drained into my neighbors yard. After consulting with several contractors considering both concrete and paver options, we chose Santa Rita Landscaping. The price for the pavers was only about $2000 more than concrete and provided a much more aesthetic look that matched our adobe block house. In addition, Ryan was the only one who offered a solution to the drainage problem which was to install a small drain in the tree swale and route the water via a 4 inch pipe to a lower point in my backyard which could water trees with the excess water. The workers did a great job in all stages of removal of the old asphalt, configuring the elevation so water would drain gently to a particular point, and carefully installing AB sand/gravel underlayment, then sand, then the pavers and finally a coat of fine sand between the pavers. I am very pleased with both the appearance of the finished product and its functionality. Many people have commented on how attractive and well done it is. the Crew was great to work with and kept me informed of progress and any issues along the way. I would highly recommend them for this type of work."

"He showed up promptly to give me a quote, which was similar in price to a quote obtained from another company.  From the first meeting, he seemed interested in our job and what we wanted to achieve.  He was also a  good listener and had some good ideas as well.  Bobby and his 2 man crew were great.  They showed up when promised and left the work area tidy after each day they were there.  Also, they finished exactly when promised.  The projects turned out great.  The bricks that they added matched exactly.  They had to take off the cap brick and replaced it after adding the extra height to the fence.  The front courtyard looks amazing.  He suggested building it with the matching brick of the fence rather than a stucco wall.  It  added a nice touch to the front entry and will be less maintenance than the stucco.  The waterfall turned out very nice.  We wanted enough water flow to cover some road noise.  He listened and added a bigger pump when it wasn't moving enough water.  I'm very happy with all the projects. <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Catalina, AZ

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
