He explained that because some paint came off the walls when I removed two old decals, those areas would need to be skim coated. The estimate seemed reasonable. Aaron and his crew arrived as scheduled and worked very hard for two and a half days. They paid close attention to detail, and the results are absolutely beautiful. The rooms look like new! "I’m satisfied with L & H. The work done was good and the price was fair, and Tim was very flexible with timing. The thing I appreciated most was that he was wiling to replace only the actual front door slab without a pre-built frame (unlike other contractors I talked to), which would have changed the entire configuration and look of the front porch entry. It was a custom door and he still had to cut it to fit with the sloped floor (this is normal for porches) but he made it work and I’m happy with it."

"I originally bought an Angie's List Big Deal offered by Complete Painting. When Scott came over to get a look at the job he seemed very professional so I decided to get an estimate for several other rooms to be painted. Scott spent a significant amount of time helping me decide what exactly I wanted to do with each room during the walk-through. The price seemed very fair so I accepted it on the spot and he put me on the schedule for the following week. In the meantime I mentioned to Scott that I was having a bit of a problem with our local paint store. He immediately and effortlessly took over matching all the colors I had chosen and purchased them for me in all the correct finishes, quantities and custom mixes. This was a big help! When he arrived right on time with his team of 4 family members they got right to work prepping everything. All I had to do was move my personal effects and they took care of the rest - removal of electrical plates, moving or covering everything. Working as a team things moved along quickly. They were able to paint 2 story walls including one being a staircase as well as the trim of skylights without any trouble or drama. I had more than one painter tell me it couldn't be done. I have had many projects done here in the Albany area and I can say it is rare to have a job very well done at a very fair price by friendly and professional people. They were even great with my 3 big dogs who didn't exactly make their job any easier! I would definitely call on Complete Painting again and i actually expect them to come back soon for more work to be done!

"Maybe it worked out, but it was not the best experience for me. The size of our room was larger than what the deal was, and so it was like $200 more or something. It's like a lot of money and he came in with this other guy and he's trying to make a living. They did the job but they weren't really very good. The whole thing was not good."

"We came home from vacation to very stormy weather.  We found that our garage wall and top corner of the ceiling where the garage meets the house was WET.  We looked for someone on Angie's List to provide us with an estimate on repairing whatever damage might be up there causing this problem.  Due to three top-notch reviews, we called T&T Construction on a Friday.  David Turner (owner) answered my call and we agreed that he would come out at 10:00 Monday morning to take a look at the roof/siding.  Mr. Turner was punctual and got straight to business taking apart our siding trying to figure out what was causing our problem.  He told me that if for some reason he couldn't find the problem, that he would put everything back the way it was before proceeding.  We did, in fact, have what appeared to be hail damage to our siding and roofing. Mr. Turner gave us several options for how he could proceed with the work and an estimate.  We agreed on the estimate and, much to my surprise, Mr. Turner said he and the one man crew he had with him could get the house repaired by that evening.  My husband inspected the roof and siding upon completion and was satisfied that they had done exactly what they had indicated in their estimate.  Mr. Turner worked neatly during the job and cleaned up his equipment and other scraps VERY well after the job was done.  At the end of his work, he even offered to clean fingerprints left on the new siding during installation.  Upon request, he also attempted to fix a siding problem in the back of our home after the roofing job was completed, but not having any additional siding material, he was unable to correct the problem.  He DID put everything back in place as it was. My husband and I were very pleased with his professionalism and work ethic and would be happy to recommend him and use his services again in the future.

"Wonderful experience! He was always professional and very pleasant. He fixed, repaired, installed and improved so many things in my house that had been waiting for years for someone like him. My house is an antique school house with plenty of quirks, but Harold was never a nay-sayer like so many handymen. He respected the homeowner's ideas, and knew how to make things work. "Our experience with Kitchen and Bath World was excellent; we are completely satisfied. We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Further, all the other Kitchen and Bath World staff we met were very helpful, and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home. Greg, the lead installer, has an outstanding work ethic and outstanding construction / remodeling skills. Greg did meticulous work, and our home was always left in pristine condition at the end of the day. We will be recommending Kitchen and Bath World to our family and friends!"

"The company owner, Todd, was the main person doing the work and he was friendly to us and to our dogs.  He is very personable and easy to work with.  We hired him for an Angie's Big Deal deck design and decided to have him replace the shoddy work performed by another contractor 10 years ago.  He freely provided advice and did a wonderful job.  We are very happy with the results and have scheduled him to perform additional services in the future.
