Danny was very punctual and was very careful about cleaning and making sure the rooms he worked in were left in the same (or better) condition that he entered them in. He asked questions when there were decisions to be made. He explained the whole house surge protector to me, which I decided to purchase. He made sure I understood that if it were needed that it would still mean losing electricity to the house (the same as if I didn't have a protector and there was a major electrical surge) - but that large appliances that aren't currently on surge protectors would be safe. Think refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc. All work was performed in a professional manner and he completely cleaned up after his work. "We could not be more pleased with Bob Ryden. He is honest, he does amazing work, he is meticulous and *always* cleans up (this is huge based on my experience with other contractors). Here is one example of how cool he is. After he did the master bathroom (and it was fabulous) we asked him to paint the office and we picked a greenish color for the walls and ceiling. I was at work and Bob called asking if I was *sure* that I wanted to paint the ceiling green. Since I had worked with Bob for a few months I was smart enough to pick up on his subtle question so I asked him what he thought. Well, Bob thought it would make the room look too dark, so end of discussion. We painted the ceiling a lighter color and it is awesome. Bob is never "pushy" but he has a solid sense of what works and what doesn't and he'll take the time to check in on that. I will always be grateful to Bob for taking the initiative-I don't know any other contractors who would have thought about it or made the effort."

Travis showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and was friendly and professional. I outlined the list of work items, which included everything listed above as well as running speaker cables in the walls for 4 surround sound speakers and fixing a leaky sliding door. Travis had me explain all of the jobs, as well as telling him what the priority was in which I'd like them done.
The speaker wire job was going to be a tricky one, I suspected, since it involved running cables from the first floor up to the attic, across the attic, and then back down to the first floor. Travis stated that it may not be possible for him to do, but that he would take a look and see, since this was one of the higher priority items on the list. Unfortunately, he discovered that drilling would be required between the attic and the second floor in order to drop the cables back down through the wall. He was up front and honest that he didn't have experience doing that kind of work, and after calling his boss and explaining the job to him, they recommended that I get an electrician or a home theater expert to do that job.
Even with that off the list, Travis wasn't sure if he'd be able to do all of the items on the list. In particular, the leaky sliding door could be time consuming, since to do it properly would require him to do a "water test" of the few different trouble spots that he found during his examination of the door. Ideally he would want to test them each to determine where the actual problem was, and then do the repairs.
Ultimately, after 8 hours, he was able to do all of the jobs except for the leaky door and the surround cables. For the jobs that were performed, I am extremely satisfied with his work. He was friendly and professional for the entire day, and he did a good job communicating with me as needed about the requirements of each job. He cleaned up after himself in his work areas.
I shopped around before deciding on TD Services for this work. There were other places which offered cheaper rates, but the consistently high reviews are what made me go with TD Services. I figure it's senseless paying less for a job if that means you won't get the same guarantee of quality. Because of this, I've already scheduled for Travis to come back next week and take a few hours to work on the leaky door.
