"After paying thousands of dollars to this company to install a sump pump to clear water from my backyard and help to control flooding in the future to prevent a screened porch from flooding, the porch flooded 2 more times. Contacted after the first flood since the pump was installed and received no response. The 2nd time it flooded, I reached out to another company, P&T Land Services who responded quickly. Upon their inspection of the pump installed by Back 2 Basics Restoration, they found that there is no way the pump would EVER have come on because the lid was solid! Not only was it solid, with only a hole for the piping to be attached, but they used lid designed to be used for a utility box for Jacksonville Electric Authority! I also paid them to install new indoor/outdoor carpet in the screen porch that flooded. They did lay the carpet down but did not use any tape or glue to fix it down. When I questioned that, they said I didn't ask for that. The old carpet was taped down"

After making my choice on the Angle website Chris, the owner, contacted me within 5 minutes. I explained in detail what the problem was and Chris offered to make a service call the same day. He arrived at my house one hour later. He went to work immediately, checking the roof vent and the inside ductwork. He quickly located the problems and cleared the causes of the blockage and restored the complete vent system to perfect working condition. The charge was very reasonable. They did their best to keep us up to date on what's going on with the project and came to us whenever we ran into roadblocks. This ranged from needing new outlets to be up to code or when we ran into plumbing issues that arose. If there was something we found that we didn't like they would address it quickly in order to make sure we were happy with the job they had done. Also in love with the shower tiling job that they did in our bathroom. Happy to be enjoying our home after they redid pretty much the whole interior. Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."
