"We wanted a modern, European style kitchen with flat panel cabinets. Very difficult to find affordable/non-custom cabinets in this style in the DC area. Fortunately we found Mayflower! They were willing to work with us to use a new vendor we had found in California. Mayflower did all the work vetting this new cabinet vendor, evaluating the quality of the product, setting up a new vendor relationship, ordering and assembling/installing these cabinets. Mayflower did a phenomenal job of giving us the kitchen of our dreams. Their attention to detail and quality work were evident throughout the entire project. We had an excellent field team, with some of the hardest working and nicest people we've ever worked with. Franky, Anibel, and Ismael were with us throughout the entire project, always on time, always professional and courteous, and wonderful people that we would hire again. Nicole was outstanding in helping to guide us through all of the selection of our materials, and stayed with us as we had decisions to make throughout the entire process. Things were somewhat delayed, but primarily due to shipping and other factors beyond Mayflower control."

"after seeing their website, I contacted them for a quote regarding a built-in bookcase I wanted for my living room. They responded quickly and a meeting was soon arranged. Upon meeting Tea and George, it  was immediately clear they were knowledgeable about their craft and easy to work with. They provided appropriate and meaningful suggestions and options, as I wanted a dartboard included in the design. When they  installed the bookcase, it was EXACTLY what I wanted and looks as if the room was built around it, and not it built into the room.  I the price was fair, I felt no pressure and will use them again."

"KBR Kitchen and Bath (Fairfax) did an incredible job remodeling our upstairs bathrooms! We initially reached out to several companies for quotes, but we selected KBR because the designer (Silviya) made such a great impression when she came to our home to take measurements and to collect our requirements for the project. She asked great questions, gave helpful advice, and she helped us select the right design and materials to ensure that we ended up with bathrooms that we love. Throughout the project, the Project Manager, Omer, kept us informed of the process and schedule, answered our questions, and he ensured that communication between us, the subcontractors, and the crew doing the work was seamless. The crew was at our house from 8-5 every day, they put down drop cloths to cover the floor from the front door to the bathroom, and they cleaned up well before leaving each day. The team was led by Urias whose attention to detail, eye for design, and experience resulted in bathrooms that exceeded our expectations in every way. We were so impressed by Urias’ work that we added additional electrical work in the kitchen and basement onto our contract. "I was combining bright white cabinets on the perimeter of my kitchen with a walnut peninsula.  That required either getting a single granite that would work with both or two granites that would work with the different woods and each other.  I had searched on my own a couple of times and was leaning toward a particular granite.   Nick was able to talk me out of a bad decision.  He then very patiently evaluated dozens of granites with me, pointing out potential problems with some, narrowing down to others.  His expertise with stone helped me to choose beautiful slabs that work perfectly in my kitchen.  I then purchased the slabs and they were delivered to his shop. 
His process (customer buys slab, Nick's crew fabricates the countertop) yields left-over stone in his shop.  From this, he chose a perfect stone for my laundry room.  He measured, then his crew installed a week later.
For the kitchen, he was able to install less than a week after measuring.  That is amazingly fast turnaround for granite fabrication.  The granites were fabricated perfectly and look gorgeous.  Very professional crew.
Overall, it was a terrific experience.  Stonework is as much art as craft.  Nick has great taste and is willing to share that with his customers to help them make great choices.
